Oh yeah....change the day of the actual holiday and not the game. Makes a lot of sense.

C'mon!!!! Halloween is on the 31st. Why in the heck are we moving holidays around because of a football game! Is the city of Norman going to move Christmas and New Years next because of an OU function.

Leave Halloween alone. It only confuses people.

football has consumed lives our schools and i'm not talking college. More consumed with football than
anything else, if only education were as important as football we would be a better society!!!!!!!!!!
Get a life and it isn't football dear.

What stinks about this is Friday night Norman North has a home game and Norman High as an away game. I sure hope they publize this a little more, Norman transcript hasn't posted anything. As a parent I just assumed it would be Saturday and we were so excited that it would actually fall on a NON school day this year so the kids wouldn't be tired or have to go home early.

What is the promblem? It sounds like a great idea. It is safer for the kids. Besides, you can trick or treat on Friday in Norman and then in Moore on Saturday.

Here's an idea...Maybe OU could grow a pair and tell TV to stick it, so fans with children can go to the game? As a season ticket holder, I don't care if the TV masses get to see OU play Kansas State. A 6pm game on halloween is just plain silly, and inconvenient for many. Once again at OU, the almighty dollar wins.

How much money did the president of OU give to the Mayor of Norman to bump a national holiday up a night? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that this all about money. Bradford's a perfect example of how colleges and the media place football and money over a kids' health. Now they're doing it with holidays.

I think it would be fun to have the kids trick-or-treat the tailgaters at Saturday nights game.

I am tired of the world being ruled by OU football. Why don't we just make every game day a freakin holiday.
