Just wondering - racially motivated ???

Went through Norfolk a couple of weeks ago and stopped at a place called Church's Fried Chicken. Only "white person" in the place , I didn't care I wanted some chicken LOL. Anyway I ignored the sudden stares I got , put my order in and when it came time to pay I whipped out my debit card. Lady behind the counter throws her hands on her hips and pumps the ole chest out and says "We don't take debit cards - white boy". Now granted I probably should have left....but of course I was shocked by the statement even though I knew it meant one thing , take it for what you want but I knew what she meant. So I had to say back "Well I'll just have to take my white *ss over to McDonalds where they do take debit cards"

oh my word the reaction I got from that , bout led to a fight , police called , it was INSANE.

Point being the "white boy" thing was fine BUT whoa what I said was NOT OK !!!!!

Is that city REALLY that RACIAL.......Kinda sad indeed........GET OVER IT EH ???

LOL probably so , I "grew up" around that crap in North Carolina and hated every second of it , even at that , this kinda threw me off. I guess I can't hide around it - it did bother me....both reactions , hers and mine.
