Christianity and Islam: a local debate

we are all supposed to worship God the father, that is why jesus was born,,we weren't supposed to worship him. if you follow jesus then you have to worship how he did, he followed the jewish faith. the last supper was the sabbath meal which is on friday. the story goes was that jesus was crucified after that meal and in 3 days he arose, that makes it on a monday, not on sunday. muhammad was also a prophet of God/Allah, he told the people not to worship him because he is just a man, he told the people to worship Allah, he is the truth in everything. jesus told the people that they should worship God, not him because he is just a man, God is the truth in everything.

Aparently you have a lot of misconception here.
Jesus did not follow Jewish law, he rather said woe to the ones who follows the law and not pure in heart. Jesus taught being clean in heart is more imporatnt to God that following mere rituals and laws. As far as three days goes it is a foolish argument, on third day he rose from the dead is what is eh proclaimed. Muhammad was the false prophet according to Jesus who he warned us against. Muhammad never talked directly to God where all prophets talked to God directly. Muhammad was not born from Allah's Spirit where Jesus was according to Bibale and Quran. Muhammad is dead in the water where Jesus is alive in heaven and come back to judge us all according to Bible and Quran both. Muhammad commited many crimes in his life including murder, rape, pedophilia, yet claimed himself to a prophet. Jesus did not commit and sin in his life. Jesus was sinless according to both Bible and Quran. You mentioned Jewish scripture, according to Jewish scripture God appeared as human many times to the prophets. Therefore it is possible to have God'd Power (deity) to accompany human Jesus on earth. God's angel appeared as human to Muhammad according to Islam, according to Quran God/Allah is described with human physical (like, hand, eyes and tongue) and non-physical(anger, mercy, punshing, jealous) human attributes. Why cannot God's power accompany within a human when Quran describes God/Allah with all human attributes anyway. Muhammad took a pagan idol Al-illah or hubal to promote as the supreme God Allah, where Allah's dauther Manat's back stone which arab paga's used to worship is inside Islamic most holy place Kabba.

This statement might have more weight of truth in it IF Islam didn't REQUIRE you do everything that Muhammad did, and if Muslims could worship GOD without Muhammad attached to it.

Since Jesus said: I am the way, the truth and the life...

and since Jesus said: If you have seen me, you have seen the Father

And since Jesus was the ONLY human without sin who gave ONLY the WILL of GOD in his word and deed, you will be wise to do ONLY what Jesus taught and follow his PERFECT EXAMPLE.

You might think that we are worshiping a man, but we are worshiping the WORD of GOD that was contained in the flesh of Jesus for humanity.

Great metaphor:

Jesus is the vessel, and in that he is without sin or corruption, so he is a pure vessel. This vessel, divinely appointed to be SAVIOR to fulfill GODS LAW of redemption, was completely filled with GOD and not human ego, will or corruption. When you look to JESUS you see the WILL of the FATHER without any mixture of human error. So, in the teachings of Jesus we are commanded to keep the WILL of the Father, and to do that we need to look to JESUS and JESUS alone, or we will be deceived and follow other than that will of God.

We do not worship the vessel, we worship the WORD given by GOD in the vessel.

Now, to Muhammad we go...looking at the corrupt ego and sin he did in his life, as he was not the perfect vessel, his containment of Gods will was corrupted by his human will, so that they are all mixed, confused and combined. When you follow Muhammad, you follow the vessel, the human will and thus you are disobedient to the WORD revealed only in Jesus, and are not keeping the will of the Father, but keeping those that a human replaced them with claiming that HE was pure and was the truth of God.

His claims are not validated, not in word, not in deed and not in fact, since God did not provide in Muhammad the life without sin or corruption and so GODS pure truth was mixed with Muhammad's ideas, which clearly and absolutely go directly AGAINST GODS WORD and deny GODS LAW OF REDEMPTION, leaving billions without the salvation required to save them from the effects of their sin.

That Muhammad taught against the Gospel of Grace, by saying it was not Gods Law to required the shedding of innocent blood to redeem the sinner, and did say that by works alone you are going to 'earn' your way to heaven, is more proof that he is denying GOD HIMSELF, and is acting like the rebellious son of Adam, Cain, who thought he could offer to God as a sacrifice the works of his hands from the field, which GOD REJECTED. God accepted instead the offering of ABEL who was obedient to GODS LAW, and did sacrifice the firstling of his flock for the shedding of innocent blood to remove the sins of the sinner had been make known to God's creation from the beginning.

Muhammad is a corruption and a denial of the Saving Grace of God that all need in order to be with God in heaven. Follow him, do what he says is 'right', and you will experience what Cain experienced, complete rejection from God for your offerings that are sinful because they are DISOBEDIENT to GODS LAW.

I'm sure the debates will be interesting and many valid points will be made supporting each religion, but they will inevitably expose a central truth: each faith is intolerant of the other, each side entrenched in it's own ideology, constantly trying to prove that their faith is the one "truth" faith.

Show me one example where Jesus told people not to worship Him.

Jesus is the only way to heaven. There is not other way. The bible is clear, end of discussion.

Yes.

It's difficult to debate religion when there's so much hate (real or imagined), but I'm certain that the same disdain for Islam that is exhibited here is the same in a Muslim country where Christianity is disparaged. Neither is right. Some folks take for granted that their "god" exists, but, who's to say which religion is the truth? Mankind? It's a question that will never be empirically proved, but will be a taken as a matter of faith.
