Do NOT use these guys – they will RIP YOU OFF.

After 3 attempts to repair my refrigerator, it still failed to operate correctly.

If fact, it got worse. I decided to call a reputable repair shop only to find out that Appliance Master (or whatever name they are using these days) installed the wrong compressor and removed critical components to "force fit" the wrong compressor.

Seriously, do yourself a favor and RUN away from them. Watch for ads that say $7.95 for a service call – this is probably them.

I would NEVER use this company again. The microwave sounded broken when the guy left and it now SPARKS!!!! which is wasn't doing when he arrived. The company states they only have ONE technician named VICTOR to repair microwaves. I refused to let him step foot in my house again and they have NO ONE supposedly that can come in his place. I would rather lose my money than have him near my home. SCAM BUSINESS---stay away. THEY ARE RUDE!!!

this company should be shut down. I called them out to look at my refrigerator and the so-called tech they sent was dumb-founded. He left a tool inside the refrigerator, he charged me a bogus fee, and he left my water line unplugged which caused major damage to the room below my kitchen. I am very furious and will take legal action. The so-called customer service rep who answers the phone is very, very RUDE!!!

told the service person that my icemaker was out, and that the unit was not cold. He replaced the water valve and still no ice, can not get them to return.

totally agree!
this company needs to be shut down immediately.
they were rude and unable to help.
they asked for $800 dollars to fix the ice machine.
i called someone else out and had it fixed for a much lower price.
they also mentioned that someone had snipped a wire beforehand.
could ONLY be the technician for this company bc no one has ever touched the inside part.
i called them for an explanation and their manager
ROBIN and another manager hung up the phone.

Agreed. It took 4 trips over 3 weeks, and their final bill was more than a new dishwasher would have been.

these guys must operate out of their house, and have no formal/ tech training. They operate by trial and error, and this can be costly. I'm reporting them to serveral agencies this week.

I wish I saw these reveiws before my wife hired them. They have been out twice to fix my refrigerator. The first time they charged $130 to clean out some filter? The second time they charged $224 to replace the circuit board. They said the circuit board would be replaced at cost with no additional labor charges. On the internet, I found you can get the same circuit board for $124. What a mark-up on parts...over 80%! Nonetheless, my frig still does not work.

I wish we had done our research hw when it came to this company because we were just ripped off. Not only did they not fix the problem, we went from our refrigerator not being cold enough to having them replace parts that didn't work,leaving the compresser upbolted and loose with lines cut in the back. VICTOR worked on this for 4 hours and had the nerve to wait until my husband was on the phone to complain with the manager ALEC when he packed his stuff and ran out the house to his truck and drove off. We had to buy a new refridgerator today which cost us $1,200 right in the middle of the recession. We called the credit card company to stop their payment. They claimed to have given us a credit that never hit our account. We are going to make a BBB complaint, contact the IRS, and Clark Howard. How can we force them out of business? How can we stop these CROOKS!! Anyone out there suing them? Their manager ALEC or ALEX was RUDE beyond belief.

I stopped payment on the check after I found out they were crooks. They have now sent me a certified letter demanding payment and threatening to put a lein on my house. I believe when they were pretending to repair my fridge they actually poked a hole in my coil so all the coolant would leak out. After their visit, my fridge stopped cooling all together and the subsequent repairman I hired found the hole in the coil. I had to replace the fridge. Is anyone interested in joining me in a lawsuit against this (these) companies.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I have paid them $550.00 and my refrigerator does not work. They came to my house on 4 separate occasions and could not fix the problem. In March my refrigerator was blowing hot air, I called this company and Borat came out the next day. They charged me 300.00 and told me that the copper lines had cracks and that the freon had leaked out. The next day my refrigerator was blowing hot air. They (Borat) came back the next day and said I needed a new compressor and that was another 450.00. I did not have 450.00 at that time. So I have been living without a refrigerator until I called them in June to come out and replace the compressor. They agreed to charge me only 250.00 for the compressor since they were not able to fix the refrigerator in March and had charged me 300.00. They came out (Vic) on June 29th and replaced the compressor and the next day it was blowing hot air again. I called and they came back on 07/02/2009 and stated they had to clean the lines etc because when a compressor goes out it blows oil etc. The next day my refrigerator was blowing hot air. I called and demanded to talk with the owner "Evie" is a very rude and unprofessional person stated I would have to call him back (what kind of customer service is that that you have to "keep trying" to talk to someone to file a complaint.) I finally reached Sam and he stated that my refrigerator had been working from March until July and if I wanted them to come back out I would have to pay another $75.00 service call fee! I am beyond furious, I am taking this company to small claims court, filing a complaint with every available agency; The Better Business Bureau, Clark Howard and every news channel known. I have gone without a refrigerator since March and have paid 550.00 to be told I was a liar. this is totally unacceptable and I will pursue at any level. While I am sitting here writing this comment, someone else is being ripped out by this company.

You are right in the ballpark about this rip off gang from the Ukrane. They charged us $350 for a $31.70 part. The so called tech "Gary" was very rude and yelled at me when I asked questions. Right then and there I should have thrown him out of our house. When he left there was water all over my floor. He threw out ice maker into our sink. There was no reason for that. When we found out how they ripped us off, I called them. Some guy answered the phone and as I asked how could they charge so much for so little, He screamed that they weren't in the parts business and not to consider stopping payment because if we did, he would make my life miserable that he'll teach me a lesson I wouldn't forget. To me that's a threat. My husband then called them back and the same guy threatened him with a lien on our property. We will go to court against these thugs. These people are CROOKS! CONSUMER BEWARE.

I can't believe I didn't look up reviews on this place!! This company is AWFUL and I am FURIOUS right now. Thankfully, I only gave them $20 of my money. However, I called about my broken washing machine. Something was wrong with the knob but I was still able to do washes (though it was a pain). I called to get it fixed and they said it would be $200 to replace the "timer." I said no thanks, I can still do washes so I'll leave it as is. I went to do a wash the next day and couldn't do ANYTHING at all. I called them to have them come back and fix it and they REFUSED. They need to be reported.

How I wish I had done my research! Victor showed up at my house, late, had no idea what he was doing, charged me $55, and never returned my follow-up phone calls. At one point, while I thought he was upstairs working, I found him sitting in his van reading a book...don't know if this was related to my LG washer, or if he was just killing time. His eloquent description of the problem with my washer was "no works (dead)". When I called the business phone number, the lady who answered the phone (with the same heavy accent that Victor has) assured me that he would be calling me back, but I'm still waiting for that call! I will be reporting them to any agencies I can find.

I am appalled. I have never, ever been treated like this by a repair person. WHAT A RIP OFF! He did NOTHING except cause damage to my appliance. He was threatening and downright frightening. I am reporting this so-called company to everyone possible. I hate to say this but I am convinced this is a gang of Ukranian con men ( and at least one woman answering the phone). they will NEVER return calls or your money. they are cheats.

how can we talk? I would LOVE TO JOIN TOGETHER wtih folks and sue them. they DAMAGED my dryer and left carbon monoxide leak. They are hoodlums and dangerous.THIEVES.

Dishonest company. Technician pretended to not know english well. I am not even going to get upset, it isn't worth it. on the phone they say service call is 7.95, then lie lie lie.....PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID- DO NOT GIVE THEM A DIME OF BUSINESS. Tech "fixed it" then left. Needless to say my washer is still busted with the same issue as yesterday. He made it look like it was working, they are very skilled crooks. How are they not shut down!!!!!!!I I only got ripped off $23 (negotiated from $65 and gave a $3 tip to be nice). If anyone is making moves against this company I'm at wisdumb4all@yahoo.com. I can't stand shady business!

They got me to. I have called this company several times to come back out and look my refrigerator for the original problem. needless the say it has not been 30 days and I still have had the same problem I have called them every three days to deal with rude people and now they said will refund me less $75 for gas to and from my place are you serious. He at first told me he could not give me a refund I would have to replace part by part or by a new frig. i am going to file a lawsuit against them because they want to take the parts out and deduct $75 this is crazy. Lawsuit!

I am a bit confused after reading all the posts. My dryer wouldn't even turn on and was making just a buzzing noise when I pushed the on button. The company confirmed by phone the online appt I submitted within minutes of hitting enter. The technician, Vic, arrived within the window of the appointment and fixed the dryer (replaced motor) at what I thought was a reasonable price. He was courteous and prompt and I have done loads and loads of laundry since the dryer was repaired. Not sure why I had such a good experience when others have not; but I thought the service from this company was very good.
