Review: A Van Lines

Please beware. Do not use this company. They will rip you off. I am suing them for breach of contract and violating the unfair and deceptive trade act. The owner, Nick, is a liar! Check out the number of complaints against them on the FMCSA web site.

The company is a big rip off! They will nickle and dime you to death. They are very unprofessional and I am planning on suing them. Please DO NOT use this company!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I have sued and won a judgement against then for their deceiptive practices. They would not tell me when my furniture would be delivered and hung up on me! They delayed deliverey for 25 days and charged for volume NOT weight like the contract said. Rude and did not follow any of the federal regulations requirements. Did not pick furniture up in the time window they gave and it rained on furniture causing damage to leather couches and bedroom pieces. Lost boxes,etc.

DO NOT USE!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID! I had to get FMCSA and Weights and Measures involved just to get my things. They prey on you -- knowing how vulnerable you are because they have control of all of your worldly posessions and you are powerless. Delayed my delivery twice, leaving me stranded and sleeping on the floor in my new apartment. Lost goods, lost furniture, and yes, staff that yelled at me, hung up on me, and even called me garbage.

SCAMMERS! Still have not delivered my things, "James" sales manager wouldnt let me speak, yelled at me, threatened to throw my stuff in the swamp and hung up on me. Still no belongings! Maybe they're in the swamp.

Has this been resolved? Any tips you can share?
I am going through them right now and I've got a sinking feeling...

I wish I had read this before hiring them. Goods held hostage for a price increase from $890 to $1885, pickup a day earlier than contract, and even a cashier's check wasn't good enough payment. Nick, the owner, was one of the worst businessmen I have have ever dealt with.

They have been the worst company I have ever dealt with. After "James" quoted us a price of $1625, it has now increased to $2881. They are holding our things hostage as we speak. The delivery is now a week late and I would appreciate any help you can give.

Can you tell me what attorney you are using? I am having similar issues with them right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are these crazies still in business? They stole $400 from me and I am trying to get it back. There is no response on their telephone line. I wish I had seen this site before giving them any money. The owner, Nick, uses scare tactics and intimidation to get more money out of you. Threats so severe I literally got off the phone crying. If they are still in business, STEER CLEAR!!!!

I also get ripped off too. paid $4600 for my move and had major damages. They will not return your phone calls or email. All these poeple can't be wrong.

they stole all of my things and $2000

Did anything ever come from this? A friend of ours has been missing his stuff since February.

We have a friend whose whole house of belongings...everything... is missing since they loaded it on a truck in January.
Can anyone provide any information to help find the people to locate the belongings? Whether it's their registered names, aliases, addresses, home addresses, other businesses, etc.
