Well, for your information, we are all sinners so I don't think you have anything to be proud of. We're all the same. Glad you still read the Bible tho'......if you're telling the truth. Maybe you'll find out all the stories are true in the Holy Bible, not the fake ones. Don't depend on what someone tells you. Find it out for yourself. That means study it! BTW, all the stories are true or none of it is true. You have to decide what you believe nobody can do it for you. I could be wrong but I don't think you're read or studied much of the Bible. Sounds like you're way out there.

"Sin" is a religious concept. Atheists are not religious, so we cannot sin. We do think that YOU should stop sinning, though.

"All the stories are true in the Holy Bible"? The Great Flood? The unicorn? Lot's wife turned into salt? God created Adam and Eve -- and you calculate that happened around 6,000 years ago, or so?

Scientists have long held that the first animal species appeared around 635 million years ago. Recent fossils unearthed recently in Namibia indicate that, in fact, animals were around between 760 million and 550 million years ago, which is 100 million to 150 million years earlier than scientists once thought.

The kind of animals we're used to hadn't evolved yet, but their earliest ancestors had: hollow, sponge-like globs, no bigger than a speck of dust. And these little globs may in fact be man's earliest ancestor, with man evolving from those tiny animals.

So you can quit adding up all of your "begats" and coming up with the world being just 6,000 years old.

Did I mention anything about 6,000 yrs.? Did you know many scientists are thinking differently now about how the world began? If you were as smart as you think you are, you would know this. I have told you before I don't look at anything the Huffington Post has to say. Therein lies one of your problems!
BTW, you are a sinner just like everybody else....believe it or not! Like it or not, the Holy Bible is all true. Get in the Word and you will see that it is. Why don't you spend some time doing this instead of wasteing your time trying to prove me wrong. You will never be able to prove me wrong about the Bible. I'm flummoxed as to why the whole Bible must be true or none of it true. This is the weirdest line of reasoning I've seen in a long time. I think it may cause a silent threat to a Christians belief system. Inherent in this is the glaring possibility that none of it is true, made by the standard that its all or nothing. Its also a childs logic. I always marvel at how mature rational adults can be so stable and logical in every other aspect of their lives, but revert into irrational thinking on this one subject. I'm always tickled to find out that this religiosity typically believes somewhat in Dante's hell even tho that version appears nowhere in the holy Bible. The unquestioned Bible is the poorly studied one.

You're even more clueless than Dawg. If the whole Bible would not be true, then who would decide what was true and what was not true? Duh!! I hate the word religious. A person can be religious about anything. Christians believe the whole Bible is true. If not, they are not true christians. That's just the way it is.......no other way! You just proved that you haven't and don't study the Bible. The people that seem to know the most about the Bible are the ones who know the least. Many people have a head knowledge of the Bible but it also takes a heart knowledge.

It's Biblical absolutism / you either believe every word in the Bible / you don't. If you don't believe every word / they don't consider you to be a "real Christian." One of the posters here routinely says something like / "I believe every word in the Bible is true / because I believe every word in the Bible is true."

Do they use circular logic much? Apparently so. Do they ignore hard science (carbon dating)/ that totally disproves the absolute accuracy of the Bible? Seems so. Do they lack intellectual curiosity? Almost beyond doubt. Their rationale / support makes about as much sense / as when your Mom / Dad answered / "because I say so" / when you were a kid.

If you people that don't believe in the Bible would just study the apologetics alone, you would find there is more proof that the Bible is true than not true. It's usually because people are so busy and caught up in this world that they don't even give it a thought. Yeah, I remember when I was a kid and my parents would say, "because I say so", I trusted them. That's the reason I trust Jesus Christ.......because he said so. Isn't it amazing how much revolves around the Bible and people don't know it. Keep your eyes on Israel!
