Why was KSN 16 was in town to ask questions about the water?
What is wrong with our water? Is it safe to drink??? Why is the Attorney General getting involved?

Good questions. I'm gonna check into it. Perhaps a call to city hall or the mayor will give some answers. It could have something to do with our old pipes that need replaced.

The mayor doesnt think the lines need to be flushed. He didnt maintain them when he was in charge and they have got alot of build up in them. Ever since the superintendent left it has gone back down hill. The mayor will probably lie to news and say ever thing is ok.

I guess city hall got several calls that the water on Mill St. and neighboring streets was unfit to drink. Adam let the well run out of chlorine. Thats not good. It does the disinfecting and odor control. He isnt qualified to run the water system and doesnt even have a water license. Mayor doesnt think to much of people to put someone unqualified to treat our water.

Maybe the mayor has better plans for the money he is saving us? Perhaps he should tell us.

John was making upwards of $60,000.00 when he was the Superintendent. The city was having financial issues and told him they couldn't afford to pay his families medical insurance any longer, gave him a YEAR to get his family insured through another means. When the year was up, he told the mayor he wanted a raise..........now that he is the mayor, he thinks the city is to broke to hire a qualified operator, even making substansially less than he was. The truth is, he wants to be in charge, micro and mis-managing as usual. Maybe if he hadn't been so greedy and demanding when he was the operator, the city wouldn't be so broke.

yes the water here on mill st is mad and smell,s i have call the city hall alot about it and nothing has been done about it also why is the darn water bills keep going up and they never look at the meter,s i have watch for them and they never look at them they just bill you any thing they want also alot of these house,s around here is making people sick from the smell they have in them just like the one behide me.

I'm thinking the smell is sulphur. Anderson has always had it. A water purifier might help you. As for their "estimation" of our water bill, I think you're right and I don't like it. I for one am sick of lazy city workers. I think its time for a change. I don't mind paying my taxes but I want my money's worth and John is not worth my tax investment.

Heard a fireman talking the other day about adam failing his test. And this is the guy john has running the systems? The D entry level tests are the easiest ones. Hope somebody figures out this town needs some real help. The dynamic duo of john and adam isnt working. Literally.

If your water is smelling or tasting bad, the water lines probably need to be flushed. Call city hall.

I see our city crew is sure working hard today. I just drove by the shop at 8:40 and seen 2 of them standing outside talking. then adam drove by with another one in the truck and they went to jiffy mart for sodas. Why dont they fix the water leaks by arvest,the shop and behing goldstiens. I guess since its the friday before memorial they dont have to work. john sure has got a winner of a crew. They work just like he did when he was here. Notrhing gets done and their not gonna change.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but I dont think our water should have the sulfer smell in it. If adam would do his job instead of just driving around talking on phone, and flush these lines it wouldnt smell bad. It seems he cant do anything by himself. There's always 3 in the cab of his truck.

Yeah...3 people should be enough to get any job done in a town our size. Seems like they also could kill the grass growing up on old 76 and put some tar sealer on it.

I see DNR was in town yesterday. Apparently several calls were made to them and they decided to check out things for themselves. According to one of them there was no chlorine on the North end of town. I guess john's puppet got talked to about proper operation of a water system. Maybe he'll start doing things right instead of trying to blow smoke up business owners butts. She didnt fall for their line of bull and called dnr. Kudoo's the her.

Apparently john's little boy didnt listen. DNR was in town again. It seems to me that if john ran this city for 20 plus years, adam shouldnt be in trouble with DNR. He is supposed to be working off johns license. Either john isnt helping him or he doesnt listen. Which is it?

Does adam even know what he's doing? Seems like he cant make any decisions by himself. Everytime someone calls about the water he gives a BS excuse. One of the guys told me and a few others that adam is getting tired of ray tattling to john everything adam does. Seems he doesnt like ray being john's little eyes behind the scene. Apparently adam wants ray outta there, so john wont know anything. Payback sucks huh?

I think Adam does know what he is doing, but he is just too lazy to care. We have more money in this town than the county does. We shouldn't be having problems with water lines or roads.

His position has gone to his head. He seems to think he answers to no one. He seems to be more concerned with his bow shop then our water. You got to get off the phone and get out of your truck to get anything done. Any numbskull can drive around and talk on the phone and call themselves the supervisor, but it takes some effort to do the job. He has gotten arrogant with the townspeople and he's gonna mouth off to the wrong person soon. I called dnr to about the water last week. They have apparently gotten several complaints. People are tired off getting the run around from adam, so their going higher now. Wonder how john would feel if he new that. Be kinda hard to get re-elected with that many upset people.
