One more thing Peter, the Lord does NOT help those who help themselves. He helps those who CANNOT help themselves. He said the sick need a doctor, not the ones who are well. He came to call the sinners to repentance, not the righteous. You have to know you are unable to help yourself, before the Lord will help you.

you are mistaken. Like I said, alot of good Christians have died horrible cruel deaths while praying for god to save them. Just as Noah followed gods instructions and built the Ark, alot of people are following what they believe god wants them to do and are preparing. Who are you to judge if they are wrong or right?

As I have said, the Bible tells us what is right and wrong. And what God told Noah does not apply in the same sense to His bride. You must be able to rightly divide the Word of God. We, the bride are to work during the day, not the night. Here is something to consider about the rapture: consider the chronology of Revelation. The 24 elders (the church) cast their crowns at Jesus' feet PRIOR to the opening of the seals that start the tribulation. We must be there to receive those crowns in order to cast them at Jesus' feet. The identity of the 24 elders as the bride is obvious. 1st, look at the robes. Dressed in white. 2nd, they sing a new song, the song of the redeemed. 3rd, look at their reward. Only the saints receive crowns, not angels. Only the diligent who seek and hunger after God will see the rapture. It is a mystery hidden from the world. Only revealed to His beloved bride.

yea right, your as big a phoney, hypocrite as they come. You really believe god is going to torture and burn people he supposedly loves for all eternity? You are a fool. There is a god but not the one you worship. Why would god be so self centered that he would want people to go around worshipping and praising him? That's stupid and a sin in itself. You better wake up and live before you die. Your wasting your whole life worshipping and praising and groveling. God is love, not some self absorbed egomaniac.

The Bible says that God is worthy of our praise and worship. That is why He created us. Better start reading the Bible. You're looking pretty foolish right about now.

In response to the above comment-My husband and I went by in the beginning of the Truitt's Cave episode to welcome the new owners. At that time, which was probably around July of last summer and there was a nice lady staying there in a motor home. She was somewhat vague about the plans but was nice and introduced us to one of the owners sons. We told him we were glad to see someone buy the cave and wished them well with their endevors. A man came out of the cave(whom he stated was his Dad) barked orders to the young man, gave us a dirty look, walked away and by the next day he had put up gates and no trespassing signs so if people don't want stories to be started, they could at least give a good impression by at least speaking to folks who try to make them welcome.

I'd would have ran your nosey snooping ass off too! You went over there snooping around and they didn't tell you their business so now your gonna gossip about them on the Internet. What a nice Christian like thing to do!

She/he wasn't snooping. Folks around here welcome new neighbors and ask them if they need anything. THAT is the Christian thing to do. Apparently, you were raised in a barn by timber wolves.

visiting is one thing, being a nosey snooper is another. Bashing these people for not telling everyone their business is NOT the Christian thing to do!

Has anyone reported the activities at the cave to local law enforcement or federal fusion center?

I am the owner of the cave. Rest assure I am not here to start a Waco, so please do not show your ignorance by drawing conclusions that are nonexistent (if I may use your quote). Thank you

whatever, dude. If you don't want people to draw the wrong conclusion, maybe you should act like a good neighbor instead of looking like you are running some kind of cult. Also, my uncle helped open that cave up, and you are destroying all that was once beautiful with that piece of property.

Hey everyone, it's so nice to hear so much concern about our ongoing endeavor on restoring the property of Truitt's Cave. I do live here at the cave and we have indeed heard of many rumors of doomsday prepping, opening a night club/bar/strip club, and that we are raging meth heads or militia. I find it all rather hilarious. In fact, it was just 2 days ago when a child on a school bus yelled "ITS THE END OF THE WORLD!" out the window driving by. We all waved and laughed. To the lifelong citizen, we are currently working on an organic garden which has just fenced off from the dogs, when we harvest, people will be able to come down and trade/buy vegetables from us. In the meantime I'm sorry that your visit (which I'm sure you weren't snooping around) wasn't as housewarming as you would have liked. We have been through a lot and the daily grind is very tiring. I love the area and I cant wait to get beyond all these ridiculous claims about what is going on. I assure you, all we want is to live happily self sufficiently and that takes time as you know living in SW Missouri. The whole experience has been quite the adventure and can't wait to integrate our lifestyle with our local neighbors and visitors. As for the local law enforcement, we are very pleased with the professionalism considering all of the immature gossip, we have the utmost respect for the local and country sheriff, we have met them all. I also find it funny that "Anderson Guy" who claims to be worried about crazed neighbors starting a cult who seems to post in complete random parts of the country but none in any proximity to Lanagan or Southwest Missouri for that matter. I also find it funny that you are assuming that we are a radical group/cult yet you are turning this forum into a religious war. If you want to know the truth, come down to the cave and talk to us and maybe you would realize that we are totally normal and are open minded to any religion/opinions of any kind. The last time I checked this is still America. As far as the installation of the "No Trespassing" signs and gate, 1. We have dogs that we don't want running into the road 2. We have had many episodes of people assuming it's okay to wander onto our property at any point in time day or night. Would you feel okay if you were sleeping and woke up to a random person(s) standing on your property? Oh and by the way, no one has EVER came to our property to help/assist us in our endeavors, people have only come to inquire about what we are doing. You can call that whatever you want. Please be patient my fellow neighbors, our small group is working tirelessly to make the property suitable for walk-throughs. The cave itself has undergone some cave-ins and is not currently safe for visitors. My goal is to beautify this property utilizing a permacultural strategy. "Anderson Guy", you are entitled to your opinion about our progress but let me share my opinion. I feel that the property has never seen its full potential and we as a family will try our best to bring out all of it's best qualities and I'm sorry you think that we are destroying the property but this is a work in progress.

I was NOT going to respond to this crap but Anderson Guy has pissed me off to the point that I feel I must. I find it comical that Anderson Guy keeps saying that he has NO clue of what we are doing, that he is a christian but every chance he gets he stirs the pot of conspiracy and fear. IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS what we are doing on OUR private property! SO, f$%k off Anderson Guy! How about that? You throw up we are a cult and anything else negative when you are not trying to quote scripture. You talk of being a good neighbor but throw daggers every chance you get. As for people just trying to be good neighbors, that's BS. The only ones trying to be good neighbors is us. We have tried to do all of our business local. We even hired locals to help around the place. We did not have to, but we wanted to help out because so many people around here are in such a bad financial situation. For your info, everyone that has stopped by and there have quite a few have stopped by for one reason and one reason only. What are y'all doing? Not one person has stopped and offered anything other than just being noise! After awhile you get tired of it! Larry stopped by today and shot the breeze before he headed home. He stops by about once or twice a week. He does not seam to have a problem with us nor does Bud! If you don't know who Larry or Bud is then you have no business continuing spreading fear and conspiracy on this topic. I have no clue what your agenda is but it is clear that you have issues. I suggest some physiatric help may help you with your paranoia. As for wearing camo pants the reason I wear them is that I could not find ANY other pants that fit! No one makes pants any more that have a smaller waist than length. I guess I could sit on my butt and consume GM food until I can find pants that fit so you will feel safer at night. NOT!

Do a little lateral thinking today and it will work wonders. Don't feel hidebound because you're supposed to do things in a certain way, because this is a great opportunity to try a different approach for a change. Even so, you may have to play down your unorthodox technique when talking to anyone who sticks rigidly to convention.
