Is the officer that was charged with 2nd Degree Battery still employed with the department?

Are you talking about H.M.? If so, that's not his first rodeo if you get what I mean ! Isn't he the same one that hit that boy across the road from him in the back of the head with a beer bottle in a bar when the boy turned 18 ? He has 4 boys of his own. How would he like a man twice their age , and size doing the same thing to them ? How can something like that be on a police force. Isn't that a felony ???

He's also the one that hit that 16 or 17 yr old kid in the Coon Ridge parking lot. But once again, got away with it. The mother tried to have something done, but like always. HE LIED AND GOT OUT OF IT!

I am the mother of the 18 yrs. old. He called me that night and threatened me that I better not get him arrested. I called Guffy Lynn at home, he wanted to know if I recorded the conversation. WHY NO !He said it was my word against his. I didn't know he'd have the balls to call my house after what he did to my son.My husband was gone to work for 30 days at that time. My son has forgave him, BUT I NEVER WILL ! He is going to pay one of these days for the stuff he does to other people. He's got 4 boys growing up and alot of heart ache to go through with them without him showing his behind. Why wasn't his name and story not in the arrest report in the INDEX or did I miss it?

i don't know why your son forgave him either cuz he would do him like that again.

I see this rag bag town has not changed. About 25 years ago I was stationed at Ft. Polk and made the mistake of going through this town on 171. I stopped at a gas station there and there was some old limp dick cop with a cain who started fucking with me because I was a soldier. To make a long story short he called some other cops, and I got the shit beat out of me, and ended up in jail for the night. I swear to God I did nothing wrong, but it cost me a fortune to get a lawyer and get the charges dropped. This is the most crooked town I have ever seen. Since that time I have gone back there and went to the cemetery where the limp dick old cop is burried and pissed all over his tomb stone. Nothing good will ever come out of this town. I see the same shit is going on today 25 years later.
