I see in the paper where the Sheriff is bidding to buy five cars and only one equipped with lights and sirens. So this looks to me that the top four are getting new cars to use at their pleasure. They drive them wherever they want on my dime. I have seen that blue Expedition at the grocery store more than I have seen it at the Sheriff’s Department. As for the Sheriff’s white Yukon, I have seen it all over the City of Springfield; did Christian County annex Springfield? Lets say that they are not for the top four; they want to buy a vehicle with 70,000 miles. In a police car, 70,000 miles is A LOT. Most departments are retiring their cars at around 50,000 miles. Sheriff it is sad that you don’t care about the guys (and women) that do a great job that makes you look good and makes your job easier (that is if you are ever there and not in Springfield or Lake of the Ozarks or Florida).

Here is the start to the decline in professionalism that it took Sheriff Robertson so long to build. Joey = Joey!

I agree with you 100%. I have to pay these high ass taxes in this county to and I see there cars all over the place. Then there someone a deputy that drive a gray patrol car through springfield everyone when I am going to work down 65. Then a slick top Checy with plate 106 does the same. My money going to waste for these guys to waste gas. If you don't live in Christian County don't take a car home. At least greene county guys that live in the county get take home cars, but if they don't guess what, they don't

Ok, so they are buying one car equipped with lights, and the other's they are going to equip themselves? Or are they going to have some cars with no emergency equipment at all. No radios, no lights, and no sirens? Are they for serving civil papers? Are they for undercover work? Are they for both? Do you know? Are you just mad because someone who promised you a better job lost to the better man? I'll go with the latter... Oh, and I saw Expeditions and Yukons here there and everywhere too. I didn't see the Sheriff or anyone who worked for him worked there. Maybe you did. What did they say when you asked them why they where there (as if it where any of your business). Never mind, I bet you didn't have the balls to inquire. I bet you hid behind the big cardboard Kool Aid pitcher and whizzed your pants. Oh Yeeaahh!!!

Why is Sheriff Kyle not on the DPS P.O.S.T. roster for Christian County? He is POST certified, right? You only have 30 days to do that you know. And why are there ex-officers still on there? Who's running things over there? Does anyone know what they are doing? And as far as the spending goes, he might want to get himself in check. Is the economy not affecting him? Revenue is down for all cities, counties & states. Does he not watch the news? HELLO?

While "Lethargic" has made some very good points, I believe I will wait to comment until the disenchanted get through with their points. Until then, I do have a question, where are all of those black jump suits. You know, all that ninga turtle stuff we heard so much about prior to the election. Just curious. Myself, I haven't seen any, strange----? As I said, curious. Who is blowing smoke towards towards my butt? Anyway, food for thought.

I don't know what the particular circumstances were so I can't comment on that, but there are many, many valid reasons why you could have seen one of their vehicles in other towns or counties-the very least of which is the inter-departmental cooperation and courtesy. I'm pretty sure Springfield PD has sent deputies to our sheriff's department or courts for that matter. If you find it worrisome keep a log of the dates, times and locations, who's driving the vehicle and if you are going to go that far it would be nice to know that it was locked?

funny that some of the vehicles assigned to the sheriff but actually owned and payed for by the citizens of christian county are driven home at the end of sifts assigned to deputies that live in webster, and green county. talk about community policeing of greene and webster county.lets save gas money before joey does as the past joey did and run out of money.then cars will be parked or run with bald tires.

I was driving through Ozark today and thought the circus had come to town. The new decals remind me of a clown car more than a police car. I am curious as to why the change as I did not see anything wrong with the old decals and thought them to be very professional looking. I hope they did not spend a lot of money on that which brings me to a point. Why does it seem like every time we get a new sheriff they spend a truck load of money changing stuff like uniforms and cars. I guess Sheriff Kyle is not feeling the economic woes like the rest of us and our companies are.

I want to know why the sheriff needs MP5 subguns that he bought from Springfield PD, new desk, new bookcase, new conference table, new FLAT Screen TV and who knows what else he has spent money on. Seemed like Sheriff Robertson was okay with his desk and tv. My company struggles to make it right now and pay our taxes and he is buying unnecessary items. So much for controlled spending by the County Commission. And they want us to keep our business here.

you haven't seen the silly black "ninja" suits because our sheriff has "gone country". just watch that silly little boy pose with the horsies and cars on facebook. it would be kind of cute if he was actually under the age of 12. do you think the sheriff will ever brag about crimes he's SOLVED during his firt 100 days? Seems to me like he's proud of the crime. yep, we got a new sheriff in town, yessiree

Correct me if I am wrong, but it would seem that if Kyle were crapping gold, in your eyes he would still be broke. I would assume as a "watchdog", you do have the answers to whatever problems his county faces? Please share them, that way at least one county in the state could be trouble free. Next we can look at Stone and Taney and straighten out any problems they might have too. This might catch on, so call if you need me.

if kyle is crapping gold it must be from the rich jail food he eats for free. surely he can provide his own meals instead of having the taxpayers feed him. who financed the entry in the Sertoma chili cook off? did our tax dollars provide the ingredients?

2 meals per day at the going rate of 5.00 per meal would mean that kyle is munching up $2,600.00 a year in our tax money. "do the math"

This does sound serious, I would suggest you take this to the Co. Commission, I am sure they will do the right thing.

Yes, I have seen their vehicles, the last one I identified was a red mustang, new, with a spoiler, looked loaded, shiney and new, saw it on 65s around the Ozark area.....

And screw the unnecessary spending, what about the child pervert they just jailed. And the mayor obviously is a drunk, since he drank and drove, which is what all people do after they drink at a rest.... or bar???????Duh??????????yea, they have new cars, new narcs, new informants and no brains......... like we all figured them out. They are so obvious to me, might as well have a pink elephant on their face......butt first.

"legion", Christian Co. doesn't have a Mayor. What pray tell are you trying to say now? Sounds like the Mayor of Christian Co. is a drunken child molester with new cars and informants. Did I translate that correctly? If not, take a deep breath and try again.

The mayor of nixa is who I was referring to, as you well know, in case you forget this forum is NIXA, don't be stupid. And I was referring to it as an example, of the area, not just Christian county. Maybe that will clarify things for you. If you need any help understanding, just let me know.

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Taurus

If you've been neglecting that special someone in your life over the past few days because you've been so busy with the festivities, try to make up for it today. Maybe you could have some time alone with them, or perhaps you simply need to remind them how much you love them. Don't be afraid to open up your heart to them, and to let them do the same to you.
