This is sad! Hiking is fun but should be taken very seriously! You shouldn't hike alone! Be in shape and leave word with someone where you are going and when you will be back! A cell phone or other method of communication would be nice to have though they do not work in all locations around here! Lets pray this death was of natural causes!

Billy Joe and I hiked the Long Trail many times in our 6 yr relationship and he never went unprepared. He always made sure we had acess to help at anytime. I can only hope it was natural causes. Love you always Bj

Why does someone go hiking alone when they have serious medical issues?
Having asked the question, let me also say how sorry I am for his family!

Hey ramdan where ya been? See what the Pres said the other day?? President Obama wants to grow the economy - not marijuana! "The answer is no, I don't think that is a good strategy to grow our economy," Obama said! Cool stuff huh?

I hope they follow up because I would like to know what happened! Too many times you never hear and there is nothing to be learned from nothing!

The fellow passed away doing something he obviously loved.
When one's got to go, that's the way to go about it.

No, didn't know the fellow at all, but given the mention of his medical issues, maybe he knew his time was getting near and the one thing that would give him most pleasure was one last hike.

Me, I'm gonna be found at 103 after having just left the best bordello in Rio de Janeiro.

They'll come to your room in Rio, so no need to walk to the bordello. At 103, you should save your energy for the important stuff.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Aries

Financial muddles are more than likely today so be careful if you're going shopping. You might be accidentally short-changed or there could be a misunderstanding about how much something costs. This isn't a good day to lend friends anything valuable in case they don't return it or they damage it in some way. Better safe than sorry.
