Anyone know of a place close to town to target practice? From the county's website it looks like the whole area outside of town is ok to shoot, but I don't want to stumble onto private property without permission.

Bob,
Take it to a shooting range. The majority of land outside of town is private property. Don't trust the county website, those simpleton's are more concerned with there pensions, then public safety.
