The Truth About the RiverBaot On The Potomic.

Yall have so much to read about when it comes to Colonial Beach and yet no one as talked about The Wonderful Riverboat. That place is so discusting believe me i know i used to work there. The Food prices are way too high for the shitty food. The People who work there are horrible. Some of the waitresses are ok but others just shouldnt work there. The managers are the workst ive ever seen. They dont have there priorities straight at all. The treat there employees like shit. Exspecially the ones that matter and have been there the longest. well i shoudnt say all the managers because Vicki, Jimmy, And Peggy are great. Its Laura that is the worst of all of them. The way that she favores some of the employees over the others is retarted. Ive seen them do some horrible things that have made me not want to step foot back in there!!! Take my advise dont go there!!!!

Undoubtly Blaa (?) from Conlonial (usually spelled - Colonial) Beach and Former RiverBoat Employee that said "The Truth About the RiverBaot on the Potomic" (I think was meant to say "The Truth about the Riverboat on the Potomac") must be the same person from Newport News, Va. Sure hope that there isn't two different Newport News individuals that are submitting comments that can't spell or write a sentence without spelling and punctuation mistakes.

ok i have to say the riverboat is not the best place but its not as bad as the former riverboat employee. they are only mad because they probally got fired and was one of the crapy people who worked there. get over it and stop bashing the place.

Well I do not think the RiverBoat is all that bad and I do think that hb blues is right everyone loves it there cuz they win money and lose it and can not pay the bills but hey you have to know when you go there you might win you might NOT thats LIFE get over it! Well said smalltown! Laura Might not be the best but she knows how to do things! So get over it!

Well I do agree with that I think if you r going to pay $60.00 a plate u better have damn good service! The riverboat is not the best but hey it is close to the best for this TOWN!

Riverboat donates to the local volunteer organizations so I don't have a problem with them. Food may be a little pricey but who's complaining when it's a nice place to eat out with the whole family.

!Please you really need to spell first of all and second of all get a life and start enjoyng life than sitting on the Damn computer and talk about a Buisness that is doing the best they can. But it is hard when they have Asswhips like you. Ok first let me say that i totally agree with everyting that you have said me me. Let me just say myself that I have been with the RiverBoat from day we opened. Yes i had a short break for my baby but im there now and honestly its not as bad as you people are making it look. I was there at the old riverboat befor the hurricane and yes things were a little more laid back but honestly i like the way penny has things. Shes trying her best to do what she can to make you people in colonial beach happy. You actually have somewhere to go and something to do weather it be by your self or with your family. I mean really what else is there to do? And seriously riverboat employee you are probably just some disgruntled employee who is piss off because you are one of the bad waitresses that people mentioned. And i for one have bumped head with laura a couple times. Exspecially when i was pregnant but that doesnt mean i dont like her or that shes a bad manager i for one think shes good at what she does.

OK first of all so to say but all of you are sadly mistaken. Laura is the biggest ***** there i hate her. And most of the customers dont even like her. They think that if she got laid she would be a lot nicer. Then there are some that thinks she just likes making other people miserable because shes miserable. How many of the citizens of CB get the honor of working for the Riverboat. They employ more people on the Beach than anyone?
How many get hospitalization, vacation, retirement, you know benefits from your employer.
I know you make the big bucks ($200 a day is big bucks in my circle) so why are you scamming the churches and other charities at the Beach. There are people who need it more than you do.
Former employee what benefits did you give up.
Tell us about the Maryland Gambling commission, who get the really big bucks. How many of the CB people get their pay scale.
