Enforcement slows Niles Township traffic

I see semi's eveyday Just South of Bertrand On Third Street. NEVER seen ONE get stopped, Never have seen a Berrien County Sheriff car, Just State MSP.sounds like a bunch of politics' to Me for the BCSD chief

One of the worst things that ever happened to Niles TWP was when the Berrien Country sheriffs Department took over the 42 sq Miles of Niles Twp, you can thank the North Niles TWP residents and the Niles TWP board for this Mess, Some times taking 40 minutes to get a officer to respond

Who are they enforceing? You never see them, A accident At the State Line today saw the State Police. No county. I read in the Paper how they have cleaned up the traffic mess Semi's and speeding on South Third St. I Have not seen it, and if you look at their report of traffic stops it would be like 1 a day a little less and most were for seat belts. The Niles TWP is growing and we need better protection then what is in their know, o well maybe in the next 2 years of the contract the North TWP and the board, will see what a terrible Job the county has done and Maybe think a little bit before they vote next time.

Yea the county is more of a joke then the Niles twp ever was.

South Third Street In Niles Looks More And More Like Grape Road, But No Traffic Patrol From the Berrien County Police, What a Mess

Well at least when we had a TWP Police DEPT. you saw them doing some traffic control, now the Only place u c The New County Niles TWP Police Is at the pizza place on South 11th or the Hod dog place.

It took 48 minutes for a BCSD cop to come when I called, Call the State Police. Could be life or death. Remember this when you vote for members of the board.

48 You were lucky all most a hour for me, AND THE NILES TWP BOARD WANTED THIS.

This is so common, since Niles TWP got rid of its Police dept. What a mess The Twp is in since they hired the BCPD Dept.

And at the end of the contract the Berrien County Sheriff's Department is going to get more $$$$. What a waste of tax payers Money. As bad as the Berrien County's Weighmaster If their is still one??????????

I never new their was a Berrien County weighmaster, All I have ever seen is a State Car.
Were is their office at ? Or Number?

The Office is In Benton Harbor It is In the phone book, Their is only one weighmaster.

Lets hear more from the TWP board on the slow response time of calls. And Were Is the weighmaster for Berrien Co at? what does he do all day and were. Saw him in rx optical In Niles once and At that Hot Dog Place on S 11th. Can you get a ticket and warning record on what this department does a Month?

Not sure but didn't they close that part of the Road Commission??????????
