Niles official vows take his seat despite '84 felony conviction

6 counts of agg. batt. is far more than a "college party gone bad." This guy is lucky he didn't end up in prison. Hey, there's only a five year backlog in seeking pardons from the governor; maybe he could run again in 2014.

Who the heck does he think he is, Why didn't he tell the people that he had a felony conviction before the election. Would he have gotten all those votes? I think not! Funny how the state wants people who have troubled pasts to become citizens but won't allow them the available options to do so. Maybe theses felons should just say the hell with it and keep living a life a crime, seeing as the state corrupt crook politicians won't allow them to live like citizens. Take a look at who this felon and his relatives have supported with campaign cash: George H. Ryan, Rod Blagojevich, Nick Blaise and others. This alone ought to be grounds to bar him from serving in office.
