I noticed an earlier remark about Elie being chained to his bed as he died. I don't know for a fact this happens, but I do not find that hard to believe at all and would not tend to think this was false although I don't know the reason this might have been done. I wasn't directly connected with F-4 unit although I was in the Health Care Unit on the floor below. However, I do have many first hand witnesses that had told me of the fact that they (correction officers) handcuff the dead body of the departed just before they zip up the body bag and prepare for the last trip out of the facility. I have heard reasons for this, but I think it is disgraceful and ignorant as much of the employees of the facility demonstrate. Most guards would deny this fact even though very few of them would be in a position to know it to be true or false, but having talk to the various inmates who had seen this proceedure first hand.... I believe the "convict" over the correction officer having been very familiar with the integrity and trustworthiness of both.

elie was not chained to his bed as he died.
If you re-read, that was never said.
He was moved to the f-4 unit and according to medical records, it was decided that it was unsafe for him to go outside for fresh air. Apparently there was not nursing staff to take him. He was forced to breath through a wall unit that was attached to his bed. There was a short cord to the wall. Medical records state he pleaded over and over for proper care. He was willing to do his sentence. He just wanted to go outside for fresh oxygen. He pleaded for a mobil oxygen tank but was told no, no, no. He even offered to pay for one but he was told no. no. no.
His sentence was to live his remaining life attached to the wall unit oxygen tank with a short cord.

Excuse me since I get a little emotional. My last conversation with him was from a pay phone where he called me from somewhere inside the f-4 unit. He was gasping for air and reported they have confined him in a small room for contagious diseases. He had been put there for several days and he reported it must be over 90 degrees in the room. This had worsened the condition and he told me between gasps that he must be transported to a proper facility and put in the ICU or else he would die. He called over and over for 3 days until the warden got mad and took away all outside calls for him. The next 2 weeks is vague, I have only heard from insiders who told me they took the oxygen away and all hospice care. Finally he had heart attack so they took him to a emergency care unit by regular van, no, not an ambulance. By the time he got to the real hospital and put him in ICU it was too late. Maybe Kenny the officer with him will step forwad at some point and tell the rest.

I have inside knowledge of F4, what you are calling "The Secret Prison" and know that these guys get better health care than outside hospitals. There has never been capacity for "30-40 patients" on F4. The reason oxygen concentrators are used is a safety issue. Most of this information is incorrect and that is why I can challenge what is said here. The medical team is held to a standard of care. Consider your sources of information, they are most often con artists who manipulate the system just like they swindled, conned, and manipulated people on the outside. I think you have been manipulated.

Shouldn't he have to pay for his own oxygen? Why should the law abiding citizens of this state pay for any healthcare for prisoners?

Elie lived his final 3 months locked inside a Secret Prison inside a Prison located in Lexington, KY while Maria Marrero was allowed to to prescribe a treatment plan and medications that WORSENED ELIE'S CONDITION. The Medical Director, Dr. Grouse, watched over the process of Elie's decline and did NOTHING. The State Atty General's Office Did NOTHING when I phoned them in tears (athough their motto is "Abuse, neglect or exploitation of a patient or resident of a care facility is a crime. The punishment for this crime is imprisonment".) The warden, FBI and State Atty Office are aware this is happening but they don't care. Because the F4 Unit is a under High Security, very few people see what is happening. The ones with clearance, risk their job and their life if they report it. I have confirmed the torture and cruelty through inside witnesses and copies of medical records obtained through the FOIA. Elie had to Pay for Oxygen during his final hours.... I have a friend that is going thru the same thing in Kentucky. His leg is totally black and they want get him the proper care is there an Attorney that will take his case.

McSame should lay some religion on his lying partner Billary.
Obama the one whose gonna leave Jesse and Al in the dust where their shakedown tactics will no longer be tolerated. Whining brethern will be left looking stupidly foolish when Prez Obama is guiding a nation with a past that is not overly glorious but one that has then been turned on its head. Jesus-like. Thank you Barak you are our saviour. Let the story go forth that we have a son of a white mother with an ancestry going back to George Washington and Winston Churchill reminding us of our early strivings. Awesome future for 85% of the world's people and for the 15% of us whites who are willing to play by the rules. Stopping the practice of occupier and planters of folks on other people lands. The exploiting of others under the guise of democracy - an old Brit tactic that split Iraq with a Kuwait blocking access to the sea. Consequence being pipelines cutting thru Turkey ..........

Judge45 wrote: <quoted text> Why don't you get an attorney and sue them? If you can't afford an attorney, there are pro bono attorneys who take cases for free. I am sure, also, that there are many attorneys out there that would take this case just for the publicity it would more than likely bring them. But if you have all of the evidence that you say you have, you shouldn't even need an attorney, although it is always best to have one when you go to court. I don't know if I believe you or not, though. Saying people are paid to post on this message board is a pretty nutty thing to say. It certainly discredits you and your story a whole lot to say something that far-fetched. It does sound like people have looked into this and have found nothing. Also, it makes no sense that the attorney general wouldn't gladly jump right onto to this, considering the fact that this is one of the things he is personally looking out for. So why would he pass up a chance like this if what you say is true? Obviously, he has no problem with going up against higher ranking authority. I didn't read every single one of your posts. I would have been here all day. But I did read many of them. However, I couldn't find what the infection was that he had. You said many were not allowed to go in and see him at the last. Did he have something that was contagious? Unfortunately, there has always been abuse in prisons. They did a study on this back in the 60's by making two average college student guards at a prison for a while, I guess thinking that maybe the abuse went on because the guards had a certain type of personality. It wasn't long, though, when these students were abusing the prisoners, too. It seems to be a fact that if you give any human being a little power, they become corrupt to a certain extent. I have a BA in Paralegal Science from EKU. She does need an attorney. It would be her against the government so she would have to get a really, really dedicated attorney who could deal with this type of case that would obviously be high profile. A pro bono office will not take contested cases. I know because I completed my internship for my degree at a pro bono office in Lexington, KY.

Look I know that people look at prisons as they get what they deserve, that maybe true, however, I think they all should be left in their cells, not out and talking to each other. This will cut down on the shanking.

I knew Elie Rabie very well. I worked for him in the 1980s when he had an upscale office on Madison Avenue in NYC. He was a helluva nice guy. Quick to smile and very respectful. I had a feeling he was up to no good but there was nothing concrete. He was probably convicted of a white collar crime. I believe he was trying to get doctors to invest in one of his many companies. He probably did deserve jail time but to spend the end of his life the way it is described in these posts is criminal. They shoot horses don't they.

The staff in the hospital or F4 are the most inept semi professionals that can be found, there are two rather large or obesse nurses Stenit, and Gieger, who are known as the death squad as most inmate deaths occur on their shift, mostly while they are too busy feeding their 400lb faces, complaints to the DON due absolutly no good as Mrs Fawks, is a raving maniac, who dirves great pleasure in threatening inmates who are on life support with expulsion or removal from life substaining equipment. Oth4er nurses such as Matthew McDaniel who are playing married, just not to their spouses while alledgedly on duty, or the smokers who sneak cigarettes in the stairway and ignore criticaly ill paitents, yet will play super cop when on the floor! Medical needs are ignored daily in favor of nurse play time or feast time. Inmates can actually lay dead for hours in a room undetected, punishment is witholding medications or sicking the receration therapist Joerandt on them. She with out medical qualifications often dictates medical policy, because she is "connected" to higher ups.

I would almost be willing to wager that some of the replies by "staff" and pro staff are done on the government computer as many of the surses there spend hours on the computer each day surfing the net! At taxpayer expense. someone's infinate wisdom on f4 allowed highly contageious imantes to be roomed or celled withothers, even ones who had ecoli in the lung had cellmates! 20 inmates one bathroom! Conditions defy decency. Verbal and other forms of abuse by staff occur daily. SOme of the nursing staff who have taken upon the duty of reading inmate mail will even harrass inamtes about their corespondence with family members, taking pot shots as they are basically all powerful. Most of the inamtes on f4 pose no threat to society, due to medical conditions, yet the taxpayer continues to foot the bill.

I will give Dr Marrero her props both she and her husband who also works at FMC Lexington, are the two best doctors they employ, I realize that alone says little , shall we say they are the only two who could make it in the free world in a private practice.
