What is up with Auto Banc?

What about it?

I don't know, but they almost got away with keeping my nephews vehicle until his wife went up there and got it with a spare key. Still not sure what the whole deal is, but something about they were telling people they were paying off their vehicles, but they weren't. Will try to find out more!

Those jerks almost got me for my vehicle to but I picked mine up before the bank got to it. I cant believe that some people got stuck with two cars payments. I hope they all go to jail.

yeah, i know. i guess the guy that had the jeep that my nephew was trying to get now has 2 payments because he had traded the jeep in on a hummer. crazy sh*t going on in nicholasville. don't know who to trust anymore. we got the newest vehicle we have ever owned from auto banc and didn't have any problems but that was about 4 years ago.

He will be working at another car lot..I would say he already is.

If I was an employee of auto banc,and wasn't behind any of this I would be trying to help all these people out that are getting stuck with 2 vehicle payments. One of the salesman said they didn't know anything. Come on people aren't stupid. There were some salesman that have been up there for years, you can't tell me they didn't know anything. If the owner was in debt, he should have went out of business the right way, not by steeling from inosence customers!

Why would anyone get stuck paying 2 car payments ? If they signed the proper paperwork...contact the Motor Vehicle Commission in Frankfort. Follow up and dont wait around and blame someone else for it. Give them your information and see what can be done or is being done . We you purchased a car from AutoBanc and traded your old one in..with the understanding, INWRITING that yours would be paid off..and the new one financed...you should have the paper work to back that up. Get it to the MVC!!! Otherwise... what other reason are you paying 2 car payments?

I called the Motor Vehicle Commission and was told by them that I'd have to hire a lawyer to handle this for me. They said there was nothing they could do to help me. So I guess I'll have to get a lawyer and see what can be done.

i went in with one of their ads and was told i won a walmart card but they was out and they would mail me one and the next day their lot was empty and they was out of business. now i see why. thank god i didn't think about purchasing a car!!!!!!!!!!

I know that is the answer I have gotten alot. Except I didnt have a problem with Auto Banc. My problem is with Auto Credit. They sold me a truck with a bad transmission when their mechanic Scott from Blue Grass Auto, who is the biggest con artist in Nicholasville, supposedly fixed it. Dont buy a car from this car lot!! Or take your care to Blue Grass Auto!!

The bad thing is I'm still not getting any help from anyone. The guy who handles getting the titles changed over on the autos you buy from Auto Banc claims not to know how to reach anyone who worked there. The way he's talking there's a chance the bank that shut them down could decide they don't want the auto I traded. If that is the case then I'll have to let the car I bought go back and then the bank that loaned me the money on it will still want me to pay them. Can't seem to win for losing. I think the bank that shut them down should be contacting the people who have autos that were traded but not yet paid off and work with them on getting this issue resolved.

For anyone dealing with Auto Banc seems we are stuck with our trade ins. The bank that shut them down doesn't want to pay off the trade ins and the bank that financed for the news autos we purchased is going to want the payments from us. Seems I can't win for losing.

I have watched Huey Grey on TV many times and he says Auto Banc doesn't create problems they fix problems? I guess False advertising is another charge. I would contact an attorney immediately if I had bought a car and it not been transferred into my name.

The bank they dealt with most was Community Bank I think they r out of Summerset

I have a name and phone number of who to talk to at Community Trust Bank and I have the name and number of the person at University of KY Federal Credit Union also. The thing is UKFCU paid Auto Banc for the car I purchased and included the payoff on my trade in but the money isn't in the account. I spoke with the man at Community Trust and he told me they don't want my trade in and I can have it back. I hope no one else is having all this problem.

That's terrible. You would think that there would be some type of insurance required by dealers to ensure that this doesn't happen. It's so unfair to the customer who didn't do anything wrong. Some of these people will end up with repossessions because of Auto Banc's bad business. I wonder how many people had this experience? You should all get together and file a lawsuit against the owner and make sure that you don't pay for his mistake! I wonder if you could file a criminal suit against him in Jessamine county? Perhaps it can be considered theft by deception, considering that you, or a lender on your behalf have already paid for a vehicle that you are still expected to make payments on. I'd be making a call to the County Attorney. It couldn't hurt.
