Right, So ignore all logic, dont cut back any programs just either add an income tax or a sales tax.
What a stupid worthless government employee you are.
The Drop programs misuse costs the Florida taxpayers 300MM a year, so instead of closing the loophole you suggest the impoverished taxpayer remaining in Florida fund some more government waste.
Yeah Right, Thats it, Yeah my girlfiend is Morgan Fairchild, yeah yeah thats the ticket!
The DROP plan cost the taxpayers $0.00 dollars.

You mean the 565MM paid out in DROP payments alone to still employed state workers was free to the taxpayers? Ignore all logic, ignore basic math, only a government worker would be capable of such a stretch!

All you've quoted are the sums that represent the of the process. Clearly, it's the process you refuse to understand. So, for anyone who is reading this blog...The President of Miami Dade College took his monthly retirement of $15,071 (that he earned through working 20+ years) and "reinvested" for a period of three-five years and got a lump sum of $835 thousand. Meanwhile, the college reemployed him at $335 thousand per year. BTW: During that 3-5 years, no contribution was made to FRS--as he was drawing on his previously earned retirement. Furthermore, his position needed to be filled and, recognizing that experience is indeed worth something, the college remployed him. The only cost to the taxpayer is his salary.

Mr. Bigsby, like every good troll, has once again swayed the conversation away from the real issue by attacking other bloggers personally (always a great way to "win" an argument) and repeating the same erroneous info. I encourage you to ignore him. Don't fee the trolls! Stay focused on school "bailouts."

Education funding in the state of FL needs your support. Advanced Placement monies are now on the chopping block. Advanced Placement is a great program that enables students to take college level classes and earn college credits while in high school. Previously, the state paid for students to take the AP Exams thereby encouraging them to enroll. This contributed to Seminole County ranking in the top High Schools in the nation--with the cut it will be difficult to maintain that standard. Write the legislature and write the governor--protect AP funding!!!!

All the money came from the Florida Retirement System funded by the people in it and investments by the FRS.This money can not be used for anything but the retirement system.False hope for school funding by a blogger with a severe case of wealth envy.

Expensive toys block our streets and drive ways and are used to beat up our property 24/7. Motorizes toys rage around or neighborhoods daily. Look around and you find 300 dollar Pods left laying along with balls and bikes of all kinds in the public areas. Seems Toys of all kind would be a good source for school TAX.

Daily Horoscope for December 9

Capricorn

You're in an industrious mood but you'll be happiest if you can be left to your own devices as much as possible. It's not that you're feeling unfriendly, simply that you won't be able to concentrate very well if you're surrounded by lots of people. If you haven't even started writing your Christmas cards yet, try to remedy that at some point today.
