14 yr old commited suicide on Eglin AFB this morning..?

When my mom went to work this morning she said there were cops and ambulances all down the street nearby our house. Later she got a phone call from a friend who said that a little girl had hung herself. Does anybody know what happened? I would like to pay my respects but I don't know how the family feels about it as of right now.

The Girl that killed herself was Lena she was my best friend and was the greatest person anyone could meet and she was 15 not 14 like the thingy sad we all love and miss her im goin to her waking thingy and try to go to the funeral

I also live down the street from Lena and was very upset to here of this. My children knew her. She will be greatly missed and our hearts go out to her family. Please let us know if and when there will be a memorial service. Also, is anyone taking contributions for her family?

Lena was one of the best freinds a person could have. The first time i met her was the first day of school. We had band class together but were both switching out so we got to sit together. At fisrt she seemed a little weird to me but after a few introductions I knew we'd be close friends. Her personality sparkled and was 1 of the most individualistic people I knew. I'll never forget the hug she gave me the day before she died. At least we know Lena is now in a better place.

P.S. If anyone wants to go to Lena's service, it's at Heritage Garden 5-7 pm on Monday September 11th

Wow. OMG.
I was searching the forums and found a button for NICEVILLE, Florida.
I clicked it and was scrolling for something interesting.
I never thought I'd see this.
I haven't heard about this except for the awkward mention of her name, or the sad shared glance between people when we all know we remember her.
It's been a year pretty much.
It's so scary.
She changed so many people forever that night.
I wonder if she knows that.

<3 to all that this touched.
And who it will touch everyday forever.

I miss her so much.
She was the best person anyone couldve ever met.
