I happen to have most of my teeth having lost only one in my front lower jaw as a child when a dentist decided it should be removed for cosmetic considerations. I lost one to an unpopped kernal of popcorn one evening and had one rear molar removed that was coming out at a bad angle and the dentist thought I would be better off without it as my other teeth were large and would fill in; which they did. And, I had two Wisdom teeth removed at age 40 when it was determined that I had an excess of IQ points and rather than remain totally obnoxious the removal would bring me back to a less intellectually edgy demeanor.
