You know what I found within this report. I found that Mitchell as well as Ostini are pointing fingers at Hopkins. Hopkins had the final say as to prosecute or not, despite what Mitchell or Ostini had said. See you at the Polls! Bye-Bye Hopkins and sorry Rod, I feel with all that is going on within your department, that you may not be the man to handle a re-election. But then again, you would probably say that I/m not the average citizen, By the way, would you please address your definition of the average citizen.

We could get a more comprehensive report of the facts from the likes of O'Reilly or Glenn Beck, go figure.

I wasn't aware that Glenn was a bad word!

Wow actually has a point. Once again our absolutely worthless DA messed it all up. This was all his fault and Mutchell should have had the guts to say it loud and clear in his ill advised statement.

“Saving America with truth.” Since: Nov 08

I see a conflict here as a man identifying himself as Elizabeth Larson's husband called me the evening of January 1, 2009, 8:15 PM and threatened to "beat you up with the help of my buddy Rod Mitchell" as I had commented here that I thought she had been fired from the Record Bee given my experience with her.(documented at: http://wearemagic.i8.com )
I wrote a letter to Sheriff Mitchel and Deputy Steven Herdt met with me in my home. I asked that he call on Mr. Larson to explain to him that such threats were felonies. He went away, but did not call back to tell me that he had which is SOP in law enforcement when handling threats. The point is that there is a claimed close relationship between the Larson's and Mr. Mitchell and indicated by what I have seen not being able to prosecute such to my satisfaction in this county. This is the fourth such matter. I think we need some sweeping changes here and more professional people in positions of responsibility. It is sad that this county has become a joke. It hurts all of us. |

I say this as clear as I might. He took a oath and as such when he found out there was problems choose not to correct but let it go forward. He had the power at anytime to tell Hopkins there was errors and revalue the process. He is trying to explain the fact it was to hide got Perdock. It started with a lie and it took a jury to see beyond their deceit.

money to the candidates running against Sheriff Mitchell. It will take cash to get over the hump. Pretty easy in the right hands.

No matter how much you try to polish this, several serious errors were made by LCSO. An outside agency should have been brought in immediatley, not two days later. The investigation should have been handled exclusively by the outside agency, not hand in habd with LCSO. There are too many ties between the Sacramento Sheriff amd LCSO, someone else should have been called in. Perdock should not have had access to the evidence or reports. Mitchell should have taken away his keys and his access to the RIMS report. The DA should have charged Perdock and let a jury decide his guilt or innocence.
Everyone makes mistakes. It is best to admit to them, learn from them and make sure you don't repeat them. I don't see any of that happening here. |

No doubt Rod has only received appreciative responses to the debriefing - I certainly appreciate it. But probably not in a way he was hoping for.
|
||||
you pretty much covered it, except he should have thrown hoppy under the bus while he had the chance. |
||||
the CS started at the SO, with failure to cite perdock for unsafe speed like Ostini said he would have if he had been running the investigation. Slaubaugh was a complete fraud too, just like I said from the get-go, his report was a whitewash and that was not by accident. Could anyone believe Mitchell's excuse on the access to the blood sample or the access to SO files with no penelty by perdock? I think mitchell blew his chance to save his job by not directly answering some of the questions, it was probably his last chance too. |

Jon Hopkins clearly has vey bad judgment. Wish he'd to back to Santa Cruz where he came from. Mitchell was a plain fool not to throw the loser under the bus, as Phill says. Who's kidding who, Hoppy probaby proof read the thing for Mitchell.
Remember not to vote for Hopkins or anyone who enables or supports him in any way. It is all we can do. |
||||
|
It's obvious that all branches of law enforcement in Lake County are no longer credible with those of us who live here. No debriefing will change this, only delousing.
|
||||
We can do more. We can put them behind bars as accessories to child porn distribution and concealment, theft, collusion and murder one. This is the progression of things and it WILL proceed. Just losing their jobs? No. They need to do prison time. Period. |

For me its always been after the fact. When he could have he did not.We all know errors will be in the process but to let the stand for three years and put Mr.Dinius trough hell because he thought no one would care. It started to save Perdock and stayed that way to the end. So all the he should haves or could haves he didn't. He is in denial to all the good police work that would be called for, if they were not trying to save perdock. He was lying at the start and he is lying now.As I have tried to state its after the fact when he knew he should have acted appropriately,its in the knowing Mitchell and you allowing Mr.Dinius to twist to your tune to save Perdock.
|
||||
Exactly, and to save other corrupt LCSO who were distributing child porn. For the persons reporting it the corrupt of the LCSO went after the innocent and protected the corrupt of the LCSO who were participating. It is an old game that has to stop. |

liz de carro: Please tell more. Would truly care to know without chastising your view on those two.
|

James - this Liz from New York doesn't even know that there is no Mr. Larson - take what ever this person posts with a grain of salt.

Lynn Thornton was KILLED by Russel Perdock! You want respect? Show the family respect for the guy who should have been in court fighting for his life. Arrest Perdock "end of disrespect" and the begining of justice for Lynn.

OK heres my take on the situation. I work close to a dispensary,and as long as the boss doesnt see me,I notice who goes in and out of this place.People with medical needs,maybe ,maybe 50%.Other people,driving big Escalades and Hummers,and look like they are from Oakland.You think Im joking,but Im not. How do these people have a medical MJ licence?Im also sure they are not using a credit card for anything purchased,It has to be cash.right? Im all for legalising MJ.But lets get real people.Its not all medical needs here. # 1 How many seconds/minutes/hours a day does your boss not have the need to watch you peer out the window?# 2 Do you work seven days a week?#3 Does this place that you observe when your boss isn't watching have a back door?#4 From your vantage point can you see the prescriptions of the "maybe 50%"?#5 Are people who drive big Escalades and Hummers not allowed to use the medicine they have a prescription for?#7 Since when is cash not legal tender? There are other small business's that are not equipped to accept credit/debit cards that won't accept personal checks either.# 8 Where did you get your information that you need a "license" to buy medicine?#9 It is real big 0f you, and appreciated by many that you are all for legalizing something that is already legal.#10 I believe you when you say, "They look like "They" are from Oakland" that "your not joking" #11 The most important question I and maybe others would like you to answer is, Just how are you able to determine if someone is "From Oakland?" |
