Goddu to be retried in March

16 Years old is legal age of consent? Thought it was
18? The new Town of Chelmsfords official motto needs to be, "Chew and Screw". LOL,historical commission? What a mess this town is.
Mess up the town, spend tons of money, screw up the tax system with businesses,and overpaid teachers, then run to Lowell.

i have been through a fair number of relationships with other women. Though none were constrained within the bounds of marriage. All where non-the-less legal and within societal norms.
I believe it is apparent that, although the relationship between goddu and the young lady might be apparently doomed for failure..It is by no means, should be seen as contrary to the law as it is written.
I myself would not want o, or seek toengage in a relationship with a lady who's parents age3 are equal to my own. But i sincerely feel that Mr Goddu should not be tried as a criminal in this matter.

It is as though the Commonwealth is accusing him of doing something which is illegal. When in fact, the young lady agreed to and allowed such behavior by Mr Goddu to proceed.

I, myself, had had the blessing to en gage in a reletionship of love with a lady at he age of 23, When i was in fact as old as 38 years of age..

It is my belief, that the young lady needs to grow, experience, and learn.. About he rises and pitfalls of committed relationship. Likewise, so to does this gentleman by the name of Goddu need to grow and learn.

Perhaps, because he is older, we might hold him accountable to a higher standard. But do we honestly want to have a law that appleis to one but not to all?

According to his Attorney, and, the Jury....No law had been Broken. A heart or two perhaps. But No Law.

A 45 year old Timberlane HS teacher with a 16 year old student! Kevin Goddu belongs in jail or hung! It was a mistrial...he was not acquitted.

He is a pig!

He is married with kids!

He should be in jail!

i dont kno what concept of law you understand, but you actually need to break a law to end up in jail.
his defense is correct, no laws were broken. the aggravated sexual assault charge is false; she admitted to friends at my school and bragged about her 'consensual sex' with mr. goddu. she loved this man. it was only when the story reached the ears of her parents that the violence was made up and thrown into the story.
they both made mistakes, but if anyone, especially a teacher from newton belives he should 'be hung', then they need to get a grip on reality and learn something.

I know that as a middle aged adult I have a responsibility to keep all relationships on a professional level. This man crossed the line with a young girl, consentual or not it's wrong! It is imperative that he be held accountable. If he engaged in a relationship other than teacher student, he needs to be held accountable. Teachers are held to a high standard for a reason! Get real! If he crossed the line, he's gotta GO!

The final result is that the county atty agrees that no sexual crime, not to mention 16 alleged crimes, ever occurred. The state allowed the father's emotion - over his daughter's ill-advised affair - to dictate police actions, without explaining to the parents what they would be putting their daughter through.

The title of this tale should be "The Nut & ..ut"

Police charged and arrested him and would not have done so without cause. In turn the Grand Jury indicted him. I doubt the parents could have forced these actions. Five jurors found him guilty on ALL COUNTS. Charges are still pending and he will likely be tried again or plea.
Kevin Goddu was a trusted teacher who raped a student. He was and is a predator and they often groom their victims over time. He did just that and email evidence of "grooming" got him indicted.
There is a great deal more to this than what is written in rags.

read the Nashua Telegraph articles guys and read about PREDATORS and how they make their victims feel.
