While this was reported in the Boston media a couple of weeks ago, thanks for showing the strong Lowell linkage. More sickening stuff from Lowell politicians (as if the Al Kaz kiss-fest wasn't proof enough. I keep getting Marconis' letters in the mail defending the president's pay. Keep sending out the hack mail, boys.... and shake down other buds for lecture hall 'gifts' and endowments...There's no end to the stream of ya'.
Hack = a professional who renounces or surrenders individual independence, integrity, belief, etc., in return for money or other reward in the performance of a task normally thought of as involving a strong personal commitment i.e. a political hack.

These crazy salaries must end. Our society will price itself out of the world wide market.

Colleges and other higher ed. organizations are the biggest racket aside from the insurance industry. It is especially a joke that they are considered "nonprofits" and don't pay taxes.

Meanwhile, they squeeze students for more and more money and the poor kids end up graduating with crushing debt. Which is leading to more folks not going or being at a severe disadvantage starting out of school. An example of how the middle-class is being squeezed out of America.

Lame.

What a joke the high salary at Suffolk is. The school is overated to begin with.

What does this teach it's students about greed?
