Full story: Chicago Tribune

"Rumpelstiltskin," you may recall from childhood, is a creepy, cautionary tale with recessionary implications.

Thank you for this very accurate review. You described our experience of this play very well. You've also diagnosed the reasons for our disappointment. I'm curious if a change in acting style could save this show or if the play itself needs some more realism. With lines like "I am the Woodsman, I am the Woodsman," these actors have a tough job.

Hi Chris, enjoyed your comments about the play and after seeing it last night, can see what you mean - especially in that 2nd act (yeah, it could do with a littke trimming). But I really did enjoy it. It was one of those nights - the actors were compelling, the aromas brought me back to days spent on Argyle St and the audience was engaged & rivetted to the stage. Sometimes that's the most important thing! Thanks again

Daily Horoscope for December 8

Taurus

This is another day in which you should be monitoring the progress you've made so far with the festivities and deciding what has still to be done. You're operating very efficiently right now but you'll be even more effective if you can plan your time carefully, write lists of what you must buy or make, and be realistic about your capabilities. But don't expect to work miracles.
