Peninsula area hanging on through rough weather

Why is there no coverage of Hampton or Newport News. It seems that the only newsworthy articles are coming out of Norfolk and Virginia Beach. In Hampton we don't know if any roads are flooded or not. Doesn't this newschannel cover the peninsula also? except for the City line apartments, and they flood when it rains hard

I would be interested to know how many people don't have phone or cable service. Most people I know along shore drive or ocienview have Cox and have not service but we don't hear anything about that.

What i find quite interesting is the News reporters keep giving out a number to call if you don't have power....now really...if you don't have power how the heck you going to see the stupid number.
Come on Reporters..think...maybe say " If you know of anyone without power please give them this number so they can report it".
Why does common sense go out the window when ever something like a snow storm, hurricane or NorEaster happen?
I also agree. The penninsula is always ignored during weather. We can have a huge storm coming at us from the williamsburg area yet we are not warned until it hits Norfolk. How is that suppose to help us on the penninsula?
Seems like all the news channels are more focused on the outer banks. What? Doesn't North Carolina have their own News channels and reporters?
I'm in Virginia too..even if i am across the water.

why doesnt anyone in newport news get any help i didnt see anything about what happen in my area a tree fell on my house and i had to fix it all without anyone giving me anything or helping me or the people who lives around me so why should all the other people get all the help what about us i still have linking in my house and dont have the money to fix it cause i am unemployed and cant find a job doing what i know
