What's wrong with this picture? The media plasters his name and address everywhere and his own department releases him to home confinement? I hope he has a really good security system and/or keeps a weapon handy. He was safer in jail awaiting trial.

He has a brother living with him who is just about to become a Navy Seal and as we all know, Miner has shot a suspect in the past on a traffic stop so I am sure that he will be just fine.

Maybe the Daily Press could name the officers who testified for him. I'd be interested to know. No wonder victims don't want to come forward.

Two different victims alleging unlawful restraint, among other crimes? I think the judge erred
in releasing this man out of
custody. And truthfully, his awards
and praise from his co-workers mean
NOTHING. This guy may have some serious issues; would any of his co-workers want him seeing any women they cared about?

there were also other women who would trust him w/ their kids and consider him family. These two women u know nothing about could be lying but u trust them...good call...what happened to innocent before proven guilty?

Not knowing any of the parties involved, there MUST be more to this than what's being reported... no surprise for the Daily Press, of course, but still. I doubt the guy is an absolute prince, but the timing and substance of these allegations has a little bit of a dogpile appearance to it... and as someone else correctly noted earlier, nearly 100% of the burden of proof in such cases rests on the accused. Look no further than the witch hunt against those kids at Duke University for proof of this... all a woman has to do is merely suggest an assault occurred, and the accused man finds his entire world turned upside down.

At this point, I'm content to let the legal process work itself out... it would be nice to see others take the same tack.

I'm an idiot folks. What can I say? I argue just to argue. I'll insult you, stalk you, and be as hypocritical of you as I choose. No matter what you post, I'll post a response. I'm an insecure, friendless, fart biter. Everyone on topix hates me and I don't care. If I trash you, I'll blame you for it. Stop being so sensitive, it's all good fun.
I'd agree with every single thing you said above about yourself, whoever the real you is? I think it's slightly sad you want to be me so bad you have taken to imitation of me. Ahhh, poor little fellow. I'm sorry you aren't happy with who you are, and I know I am something you aspire to, but no matter how hard you try (especially now since I'm registered) you can't be me!
