Review: Mesa Garage Doors

These guys are so SHADY. I had them out to give me an estimate on my 2 car garage. They were $600 dollars more than the other 3 estimates I received from other companies...RIP OFF!

I agree with the SHADY comment. They sent someone out to give an estimate who had *NO IDEA* what she was doing. We got charged hundreds of dollars for parts we didn't need.

They are just plain AWFUL!
They send out a person who is very "professional" acting...notice the word "acting".
They send out rude people to do the work and who have NO IDEA what they are doing.
Good luck getting someone to return your call. I WILL NEVER HIRE THEM AGAIN! Buyers beware and find someone else!!!!!!!!

why is there no comments on good work and people? This is scary because I am getting a door in on Thursday. Now this scares me. what should I expect.

How was the work done by Mesa? I'm thinking ordering from them too.

called them out in june 2008..got the salesmen to upsell me on the Gold Series Door...with Install..paid total $1850 with windows and brand new motor...probably could have saved another 200-250 bucks...but thats ok...great install and great fast service.just had a problem with the safty sensors in november..they came out and fixed it in 3 days fast great service....Completly Satisfied!!

My garage door and motor is only 2 years old, originally installed by Mesa, is already broken. They refused to fix it saying the warranty is only 1 year. They also claim the door needs maintenance every 6 months at $159 a pop. Who the heck do garage door maintenance that frequently? The repairman said that's how Mesa Doors make money. Can you say FRAUD?!!! I think they do a shady job intentionally just so that they can make tons of money off of you later.

I'm gonna find another company to fix my door.

I had a great experience with Mesa. i had three companies come out as well and they were the lowest by far. but it was also the fact that they were extremely professional, courteous and on time. i had my doors up in 3 days. they came at 9am and the guy handed me the remote at 11:30. i would highly recommenced them to anyone looking for a garage door.

Mesa installed my garage door. The warranty has expired and one of the small plastic covers for my garage door sensors broke It would guess they might cost one or two dollars apiece to replace. Mesa doesn't even carry parts for their own installations. There solution was to charge me $120.00 to replace the sensors that were not broken. Don't use Mesa....

these Fn idiots installed a door 1yr bullshit waranty sensors keep falling off cheap ass holders..belt broke and called Mesa who said its 30.00 for a dumbass moron to come out and say we dont replace the belt on this model of grage door opener they had stopped using that company but the can replace the whole door opener for 300 dollars,,,,wtf,,,So I had to pay a fn idiot 30.00 to tell me that when the fn other idiot on the phone looked up my warranty could have told me right away but they wouldnt have got 30.00 out of me,,,Bull shit Fn scammers...do not use these morons for shit,,,,,BBB is going to be notified for sure,,notice a trend in this site....

I could go shove that 1 yr warranty paper up the owners ass as pissed off as I am....they are lucky Im not going to there office I dont live far....

these guys saved me....My old garage door was falling off almost hitting my car. they came out immediatly and saved me...fixed the door and when I eventually bought a new door they applied the service charge to the new door. I would totally recommend them to anyone.

The worst. What a lie that stupid MESA commercial is.
They wanted 728 for the two car garage door only. 1060 with the motor. I asked why so much, they said that they have to cut the door to get it to fit and the ONLY way that they would lower their price is to have me go through the time and trouble of having some poor lad come out from another company and give me their quote. So, I ended up liking this company instead. Security Garage Door. They were a lot nicer, patient, and HONEST!!! They didnt have to cut ANYTHING, AND they were $300 dollars cheaper. Their work was awesome, quick and with a 10 year warranty!!! that's the truth!!!

Mesa Garage Doors: Watch out for this company. They took my order on 2/28/09 and then failed to come out and do a simple 2 car garage standard door. Kept making dates to come out and do the job and then cancel at the last minute -three times. Now, they say they can't even estimate an installation date until 5/11/09!
They don't return calls or email. They are evading returning my $300 deposit.I now have to go with another company, report them to the BBB and wage war over the deposit in small claims court. Do youself a favor go somewhere else you don't want to listen to their crap phone message, "it's a great day at Mesa" Argggg. Jerks

I could not be happier with my experience with MESA. My wife called them on Tuesday (after we couldn't even get the first company we called to give us a quote, much less come the next day), they came a day later at a quarter after 9. Installed a perfect door,could not have been nicer or more professional and were gone in a couple hours. Excellent service, excellent door.

I had Mesa Garage Door installed in January this year. The price was $1,200. The installation went well except I had to call service a few days later to have it finished. Because the installer missed a few of those self tapping metal support screws.
Yesterday I received a phone call from one of their office workers who said their records show I never paid for the door and I had to provide them with proof I paid for it. I got a copy of the canceled check from my bank. Made out to Mesa Garage Doors, Posted on january 20 to their account at Community bank. They said they would give it to their accounting department and try to get the matter resolved. I don't know if they made an honest accounting error or they're trying to get paid twice. I suspect the later. I would Not recommend mesa garage doors and suggest if you do buy their door Get a Reciept.

I read the blog and was concerned...Bought the door at the lowest price as they promised, they installed it...super clean and fast....I wish all my home improvements went this way

these guys are pros....my door was stuck with my car inside...within the hour they got my car out and I was on my way to work...two days later I had a new door installed.
They are total pros..

My wife and I decided to buy a garage door. Mesa scheduled the appointment and they even called my 1/2 hour before the arrival. I bought the door and had it scheduled for installation 2 days later. Day of the install the installer arrived, introduced himself and proceeded to install the door. 2.5 hours later I was handed the remotes to my new door.
This was the smoothest home improvemnt purchase ever.
