You need to add a few more rats to the list of people who need to be gone along with Judy Haney and Margaret Gates. Jennifer Eddington, Sherrell Maulden, ANn Stapleton, Fonda Doyle, Misty Gates - they need to clean house - that is the only way that hospital is ever going to be anything. They need a CEO to come in that has some balls and get rid of all those women that act like they own the whole damn place.

what is wrong with Chad, he seems nice. Dont know him personally just as a patient. He is a newer RN so that be why he would lack a little knowledge. But everybody has to have hands on in the health care environment before they are the best nurse. As far as the head nurse firing by phone she isnt the best nurse out there either I am sure she has made a lot of mistakes herself. How did she fire someone that wasnt even working there anyways is what I want to know? and by phone you say how professional is that? if what you say is true that she fired them by phone that is very unprofessional and stupid. That idiot is lucky he hung onto a nursing license. He need to just stay in his skanky barbra shop. Don't let him be nobody's nurse if you love your family. If he is still at that hospital, they are the ones who need their heads examined. He is dangerous and thretening.

To "justsaying" post # 241- the new CEO is African American, the new physical therapy director is African American- one of the hospital owned clinics office manager is African American. I do not believe the color of a person matters as to whether that person does a good job but apparently you do so this is an update for you. I have met all three of these them and I believe they will do super great in their positions but it isn't because they are "of color" as you state in your post it is because they are dedicated and passionate about taking care of patients.

all i want to say i took my 3yr old son to the er there and was happy with women up front and the nurses but totally disatisfied with the dr here what happened ok i took him there cause we had been out side and he had gotten stung by 3 red wasps one on the arm and two on his eye brow immediatly after being stung he started being extremly sleep and would stay awake so i rushed to the er got there told women at the desk what happened and was quickly seen buy a nurse who check temp wieght and tired to get heart rate but he wouldnt keep the thing on his finger so then they to us back to a room to wait for the dr and that is where we sat for a hour and 15 min and when the dr finnally came in to see us all he does he look at his tongue and listen to his breathing and then sent us on our way i would think one the dr could of been a little quicker about see us and not so fast about sending us on our way

dan, when you get your bill from the company that the ER docs work for be sure to call or write them about your concerns that the physician took so long to see your son and that you didn't feel comfortable with the amount of time the doc spent in examinging your child. it is fine to inform others on topix about your concerns but those kinds of comments need to go to someone that can do something about it so the next time you have a need to go to the ER ( or someone else goes) there can be improvement in response time before seeing the doc.

It won't matter. They ain't no hospital for kids anyhow. The nurses are not even trained in pediatrics. They jsut get forced to take care of teh ppoor kids that get admitted tehere. Don't take your child to Harris. Go to a real hospital. Kids is not the specialty at Harris. If it was, the children should not be admitted to a spot with all the older folks. PEDIATRICS. If you love your children go somewhere else.

Ask them to show you pediatrics...kids get put into the same floor as the adults. There ain't no designated place to put them and there ain't no designated pediatric nurses over there. No place to take your child, no dam way!!!!!!!!!!

What my friend told me in Jonesboro about that hospital is pretty bad. I don't know that man nurse over there but when staff at a hospital over here knows and says rotten stuff, you have to wonder about the validity. It has to come from something. Best bet, if you have to go there. just ask that he have no part in your care. Simple solution to what sounds like a bad problem. If he isn't in the loop, then you won't have any worries. wow, you have a hospital in your town and all you can do is bitch. Everyone knows this is not a hospital for really serious things. It's a place to patch you up and send you to a larger hospital. This pit stop has saved so many lives. You should be thankful that you have this. And shouldn't be putting a hospital down, for the wait. Surely you all are smarter than this.
