I have a blue Pit bull that loves going on rides with me. He is so sweet and has never bit anyone. I completely trust him to be good. Yet people are so scared of him. People look at this breed like they are made to kill people when in fact it is not in there nature to be human aggressive but dog aggressive. Just wanted to put that out there.

i have a brown lab and ever time i bring my dog outside they run. he wouldnt hurt a fly. yea he is a big ass dog but he is so sweet. i think ppl are scared because alot of ppl use pit bulls and other dogs for fighting. as long as the owner of the dog treats the dog like it should and doesnt neglect it then it wont hurt no one!

It's plain and simple!! Society has created the reputation that these dogs are mean and vicious becaue of people like Mike Vic and others have done with them. You never hear of the Labrador or Shepard that has attacked a person. Just the Pit Bull that tore the face off a child.

I have heard of more little yap-pie dogs getting bite then pit bulls but they never put that on the news. Like I said before, every dog is bread to do something, the pit bull is a working dog and bread to be dog aggressive not human aggressive. People make me so mad. I had a woman that was scared to get out of her car at the gas station.

I lived in a larger city nearby 5 years ago and would jog at a wooded park nearby my apartment. The city has a leash law.
While running a woman with her two dogs was letting them run free and did not see me jogging, when she saw me she tried to get one of her dogs but it was too late, he had run to me and grabbed my sweat pants leg and was shaking his head fiercely, as he got a better bite he got me skin and I went down and he tore my ankle up and by then the woman got there and put the leash on the dog and said I am glad you are ok and walked away. I called 911 and an ambulance came to me and took me to the hospital where I got 41 stitches in my foot and ankle.
The police found the woman, charged her, and took the dog and it was put down.
I filed a civil suit and won not because I needed the money but because of her lack of responsibility for the dog.
The problem is not the dogs, but the idiot owners who think their dogs are equal to humans and who put their dogs above the safety of other human beings.

Nope, the dog was faster than me. I carry pepper spray now but people in this area are more respectful of others it would seem.

Daily Horoscope for May 19

Gemini

You long to be surrounded by familiar faces and places today, so you'll really feel out of your depth if you're somewhere strange even if you'd usually revel in such a situation. Your idea of heaven right now is to be with family or dear friends, or with one special person, so you can relax and not have to worry about putting on a good show or being entertaining company.
