Now if Newington grew just pine and hemlock trees there would be no leaves to be picked up at taxpayers expense. I think all hardwood trees should be cut down and only pine trees allowed to grow in its place.
Better yet let everyone burn their leaves in their backyard and the homeowner can see how high they can get their carbon footprint to annoy the wacko global warming alarmists.
Maybe we can have a 5 Cent deposit on each leaf collected.
