Too bad the damage to Eden has already been done. Their reputation will be tainted for another 50 years by those allegaions and those allegaions caused thousands of families whose ancestors are in that memorial park a lot of un-necessary pain.
Too bad that this article will not reach all the people who heard about the allegations for weeks when they made news. |

This one seemed baseless from the start.
It would be nice if things likes this didn't make the news based solely on the allegations of someone looking for money. |

Even if there was foul play what can you do for them now? It's not like the damages to anyone would amount to much, are they damaged? The dead people didn't feel a think. |

Gerri Gilliam, a light-hearted young woman graduated from Beverly Hills High School in June, 1965. In August she died of pneumonia at Cedars Sinia and was buried at Eden Memorial Park.
They have no record of her. |

Families sometimes reloate deceased relataves and sometimes they don't intern them under the names most of the public knows them as. Was Gerri Gilliam someone you had interned, or someone you know who died, and their family handled the internment details? My spouses sister grave was unmarked for over 20 years because no one stepped up to pay for those services and a headstone, until finally my spouse did it as an adult. Other family members have refused to contribute money to help, so for all they know the sister is still burried there but can't be found because no one paid the bills. If the sisters friends had looked before the money was spent, what whould they have thought? One of my relataves remains were relocated years after his death so that his famly could all be "together" in one place, and that wasn't where he was originally interned. My own father's real name doesn't match the name he has used on a daily basis for as long as I've been alive so I doubt anyone will ever find him after he dies if he's burried under the name that's on his birth certificate. A close friend's real first name is Saulter, and everone knows him as Walt and his last name is so common that it's going to be useless. He's probably going to look like he's missing too. |
