It has nothing to do with elections, elected officials, politicians, the president, congress, butterflies, the price of tea in China or the methane emissions of Rush Limbaugh. It's supply, demand, refining capacity and the evil will of those who control the world's crude oil supplies. Guess what - that ain't us. YOU can make an impact on gas prices by contributing to a decrease in demand. That's why gas never real skyrockets over $4/gal - that's where people actually do consume less gas and prices fall.
