No kidding. Bloody thunder, wind and klaxons awakened me at 2:30 AM. The tornado warnings barely missed us by being souoth of us and east, but when I took a peek outside,it was one turbulent storm coming thru with A LOT of lightning strikes.

And this is only APRIL. I dread seeing what later summer months of weather will bring if this is a harbinger of it. Having a storm at this hour of the day is certainly not good with so many asleep. I felt sorry for those who were up so long reporting and covering this on TV. Great job, Mike Davis, Chris Bradley, and those of WBNS which I was watching briefly at 2:30 this morn when the storm woke me up.

Woke up at 2:30 to the tornado sirens. Started to get up, but remembered that I live in a third floor apartment, and had nowhere to go! So I just turned back over and went back to sleep.

How quickly can two people gather their "18 dogs" and head to the basement? Just wondering... ;-)

I was up at 2 AM here in southern Grove City and the wind sounded like a big fan running or perhaps a train. Couldn't see anything and nothing was really showing on the TV radar. But the wind was really loud and lasted for about 3 or 4 mins.

The sirens didn't go off in Groveport until after the worst part had went through.

I believe the only reason these alarms are being ignored is that the weather people make such a huge deal about such small or nothing storms I don't even pay attention to 'em anymore. they just seem to wanna listen to their own voices. I don't need to know what it's doing outside by the minute. seems anymore the news isn't important, only weather. another reason I get news from the internet. tired of seeing these clowns mugs on the screen AND their teaser crap gets old, too. tell me the weather and go on to something else. don't need to know what it's doing in every town in ohio and at what time it's going to do whatever.
