DeRolph claims he was denied a thorough and efficient education, because the school building was old and needed painted, some windows were broke, sometimes classrooms were crowded......
All material things......

But did he get a "thorough and efficient" education ????
We now have the advantage of hindsight......

Mr. DeRolph graduated from OSU, is very gainfully employed, is a respected member of his community....
He must have learned something, somewhere....

Could it be that pouring $$$$$$$ into buildings doesn't really equate into a "thorough and efficient" education.......
Passing and passing school tax levies doesn't make the school better....

Who cares about education.....
The important thing is....How good is the Football program???
Do they have a good Swim Team????
Do the kids two blocks away have to walk all the way to school??
Do they have enough vice principals to supervise all of the admistrators ????
And most important of all....Will the teachers get their semi-annual 4% step increases with their annual 4% pay raises????

Who decides that an education is efficient & thorough ???
The Supreme Court or the Legislature ???

You don't even need to go to high school.....Just passing the GED tests is efficient and thorough enough to get into most colleges....Or qualify for most goverenment jobs.....

Where school levies passed, the first order of business will be raises....
They'll say "moderate" raises...only 1 1/2 - 2 %
But most employees don't live in the district

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Capricorn

You're feeling edgy as Mars moves into reverse, and it won't be long before people start to get on your nerves. You might get very irritated by someone's funny little habits, yet feel you daren't say anything in case you go overboard. Or you could get very annoyed when someone blurts out something that was supposed to be a secret but which quickly becomes common knowledge.
