Dr. Rao and Dr. Li have an axe to grind and anything they say should be taken with a large grain of salt. They have been disciplined by the Medical Staff and this is their attempt at payback. D

I believe everything & and you should too------ if you know what is good for your health.

THE HORROR STORIES ARE INCREDABLE, AND UNTIL YOU'VE PERSONALLY EXPERIENCED FIRST HAND HOSPITAL HELL as administered by staff, doctors, nurses, boards, social services, and religious affiliations, PLEASE DON'T SHOW YOUR IGNORANCE...

...Reality of it would CURL THE HAIR ON YOUR NECK!

Just to think about it makes me shiver...

As significant, H. Clinton had, and has, every opportunity to do something positive with health care when her husband was president, he too for that matter, and they did not. What makes any voter think Democrats or Republicans, will resolve this medical crisis.

And Kennedy - he has been head of Education for nearly 50 years, and the educational system is in shambles.

This nations children have little to no health care, and education.

THIS IS "our reality" and the current STATE OF AFFAIRS.

Neither Dem or Rep will address issues head on.

Sour Grapes for Dr. Li and Dr. Rao! Both these doctors have been reprimand for unsafe practices at Washington. Did Dr. Li forget to tell you that her privileges were taken away from another local hostital ( St. Rose in Hayward Ca.) Once again, don't believe everything you hear...AND don't forget that there is always two sides to a coin.
I have had my daughter at Washington Hospital and Two surgerys. My daughter had surgery there as a little girl as well as given birth to her two sons at this hospital. Never has there been a situation that we were not happy about.
There is always a way to "SPIN" a story and made a good situation look bad. You must educate yourself before casting your stone. Google "life for sale" and read, read, read!

I am disgusted with Dr. Li and Dr. Rao for lying to the public about Washington Hospital’s care of patients through their film “Life for Sale.” I saw the film and couldn’t wait to leave the theatre. It made me sick to my stomach. They have brought shame to their profession, embarrassed themselves and their families and have finally shown their patients that they are not the physicians that we thought they were.
If Dr. Li’s patients could see the charges (case #12-2005-167909) against her first before seeing her, she would have zero patients. She is accusing the hospital of exactly what she is doing to her patients, unneccessary and dangerous invasive procedures.
As for Dr. Rao’s attempt at getting back at the hospital for his own peer review, how can I work with you as a team member in the care of our patients, when I have no respect or trust in you?
I am a nurse at Washington Hospital I have always put my patients first and so has every doctor I have ever worked with. We all work as a team, but the final decision still falls to the physician. If you, Dr. Li discharged your patient early without antibiotics, then it is your fault that the patient faired poorly, not the hospital.
I take pride in the fact that the employees at Washington Hospital go above and beyond for their patients. Recently one of our patients was called to confirm an upcoming appointment and the clerk said she was worried because he sounded strange and said some things. I called this man back and felt he could be having heat stroke or a stroke. I called 911 to check on him. Guess what? He had a massive brain bleed from a fall. He had successful surgery and is back home again. Does this sound like a hospital that doesn’t care. I could tell countless stories like the one above, but it will not deflect the damage done by Dr. Li and Dr. Rao.
Please be assured that the staff at Washington Hospital puts the community first. We all live here, our families are here and we want the best for our town.
