SC Supreme Court says cities can ban smoking

Bring it on!!! About time smoking was banned in public!

We've been waiting a year for the state Supreme Court to make up its collective minds. It should never have been allowed for one judge to rule against a municipal smoking ban, but judges have begun to set themselves up as superior to everyone else.
It should not have had to come to a ban if smokers had used COMMON SENSE and not smoked in small family restaurants without adequate ventilation. I still have to drive from Fountain Inn to Greenville though to eat at a non-smoking Waffle House since all the other ones are polluted with smoke. Georgia and Florida both have statewide bans on smoking in restaurants. As far as I'm concerned, the smokers can have the bars and nightclubs, but allow us to have family time at a restaurant. Thanks.

That would be lovely if not for another stupid SC law. To serve liquor, you have to have a resturant.
