It's a bee market as insects swarm Wall Street

Full story: The Patent Trader

In New York, even the bees are trying to make it on Wall Street. About 15,000 of them buzzed the posh Cipriani Wall Street restaurant this week, blanketing an elegant front door and forcing police to cordon off the block.

Probably the same way they count crowds of people. Take a photo, apply a grid, count (or estimate) a number within one sector & multiply it by the number of sectors in the grid.

I've personally seen a helicopter used to take aerial shots to make the numbers more accurate, but obviously it's not necessary.

Oneonta is a lovely town. They won't miss you when you're gone. Now why don't you go collect hubcaps on Rt 28.

Do you think Officer Anthony Planakis, the expert who caught them, would know about how many he had in his container? I mean, he's only the expert who caught them.

Wall Street has always been inhabited by amoral insects! At least bees produce something worthwhile unlike the sociopaths on Wall Street!

I don't drink beer (or litter), I don't do dope & I'm not from NYC. And anybody who doesn't know the difference between "are" & "our" isn't worth paying attention to anyway. Your neighbors deserve better representation.

Daily Horoscope for June 19

Capricorn

You're feeling slightly unconventional and you're looking for activities that will reflect your mood. You certainly won't be very keen on doing things that are drearily predictable or boring, although you'll grit your teeth and get on with them if you have no choice. But ideally you should do things on the spur of the moment, preferably in the company of people who make you feel alive and alert.
