President Obama is a great leader....He has beer summits, plays golf and fills out basketball brackets.
Now this country may be going down the tubes...but it's important to fill out basketball brackets and have beer summits for his friends that commit crimes.

Gee I wonder...will the black panthers be at the voting booths this year with clubs like last time?

Will Acorn be voting on behalf of dead people this year?

Will Hillary lose any weight this year? Saw her on TV last night and her fata$$ took up to channels.

Didn't you used to be Concerned Douchebag? Suppressing the vote? Did the Republicans hire the black panthers again? Have the democrats run out of cemetary rosters? Have the democrats depleted Bid-O-wees' customer lists? You have plenty of non-existent voters! It will be shocking but half the people that vote in November will probably be from Chicago.

Actually the majority of suppressed voters are going to be the elderly. The voter ID laws will suppress people without valid IDs like older people without licenses, and people who use public transportation like minorites. However, the majority is going to be elderly. The worst is elderly minorities that have lived through times that they werent allowed to vote, and its going to feel like those times have returned.

Think, is it possible today to never be asked to identify yourself? Can you function normally without identification of any kind? DMV will provide a non-licence ID. I don't like the idea myself, but isn't it reasonable today with 18 million illegal aliens in the country, and groups like ACORN that where proven to be involved in voter fraud. Shouldn't we want to have safeguards in the voting process? There are many non-partisan groups that help the elderly in many capacities including transportation to election polls.

And as usual, you're deflecting and dodging the issue.

So I put it to you again --

After all your whining and Bush Bush Bush waaah waaah waaaaaahhh blaming about the financial crisis and recession being caused by statutory and regulatory safeguards having been removed by Congresses and Presidents OF BOTH MAJOR PARTIES over the past couple decades (notice AGAIN I'm agreeing with you),

TELL US WHAT OBAMA HAS DONE IN 3-1/2 YEARS TO RE-ESTABLISH THESE NECESSARY RESTRICTIONS to prevent the next fiscal crisis and 'too big to fail' shake-down of the taxpayer by Wall Street fat cats?

As far as I can tell, the answer is ABSOLUTELY FCUK-ALL.

He and his Pelosi/Reid cabal of progressive idiots were too busy tying the whole Congress up for a year and a half raping America with ObamaTAX.

We actually shouldn't have safeguards. Safeguards can have flaws which prevent people from voting. If one person is blocked, we failed. As for ID, i agree we need IDs...but theyre too hard to get for some people. Elderly people need their birth certificates, which aren't accepted because of their age and style (if they even have them). Without one, you need to get a new birth certificate, which if there isn't a modern one on file, that presents major problems. Then you have to (when done with that long and arduous task) buy an ID. That means that you have to pay an fee to get a thing to vote. Thats a poll tax which is against the constitution.

So elderly have to have a huge fight to get an ID, then have to pay a fee in order to vote if they have had their ID's revoked. Thats of course if they even know they have to do that before the election. Odds are they wont, then when they go to vote they just can't vote...in a system where you can deny someone their main right as a citizen, because your system is majorly flawed...then you shouldn't have the requirement.

If the system wasn't flawed I would agree...but i'd rather have a risk of voter fraud and everyone can vote (in a system with little to no proof of voter fraud ever occuring) than a system where people can't vote due to technicalities...

We pay fees for drivers licences, passports, pistol permits, boating licence, hunting , fishing, even Ocean fishing licence in NYS, I can't take a book out of a library without a library card, but its a burden to identify yourself on voting, please, you can't be serious?

If you're a typical Aquarian you're often quite idealistic and today is no exception. You're wandering around on cloud nine, especially if you're thinking about a very special someone, and indulging in all sorts of deliciously romantic daydreams. Reality? You've no time for it right now, because it will intrude too much on your fantasies.
