LMU Pete's University

Let's hear from LMU employees concerning your feelings about LMU now and before Pete took it over .Stand up and be counted. I personally believe the board of trustees should come in and change LMU back to LMU and toss out DeRoyal industries and Pete and all of his associates.LMU is not on the way to progress but to it's own destruction. When a school loses the respect of it's employees ,students, alumni and the public at large it is on it's way to oblivion. If LMU is going to be molded in the image of Pete DeBusk the best outcome for the community is the bankruptcy of LMU.NO university would be preferable to one devoid of compassion and human decency.

I think Pete DeBusk is ruining LMU. Pretty soon they won't be the "Railsplitters" They'll be "Little Petey's or something. And the mascot will no longer be Abe.. it'll be what looks like a mini Pete.

I was an employee at LMU in the 90's for four years. I attended college at LMU and I loved it. This was a small school where almost everyone knew each other. I am all for growth. That is if it is positive growth. I chose to leave LMU on my own because of health issues. This was before Pete DeBusk became the head of the school. When Gary Burchette and Scott Miller were the president, they seemed to be just that. I see Nancy's picture every so often in the local papers. However, it seems that she is president in name only. From every thing you hear, it is the same thing. Pete DeBusk is in charge. This I do not understand. The board of accreditation, doesn't allow board members to lodge on a college campus. Seems to me like that is all that Pete is doing. He is there making all of the decisions. They could save a lot of money and just let Nancy leave campus. Why pay a president when Pete is making all of the decisions. Since, I attended LMU, countless employess have left. They have chosen to go to other colleges even 2 year schools, where they would be treated with more dignity and respect, and also receive better pay. Every time you look on topix, you see something about LMU mentioned. Why are the board members willing to put up with what is going on, on campus? This person asked for the employees to speak. Why don't the board members speak up, or are they afraid of Pete too? The only one I fear is God. Pete is the peon in this case.

Honey if you'll start from the beginning of this thread.. You'll see what I mean.

I heard another professor that had been there for years was leaving after this semester. He said that he could get paid better some place else. That all of the $ was going to pay the new staff at DCOM. What is going to happen when all that is left is DCOM faculty and students? They only have around 150 students. Maybe the rest of the university should do a protest. Let's start making signs and do a picket..

Our politicians are always criticizing the Chinese human rights policies. No doubt freedom is non-existent in China. From what topix posters say about the King of LMU,human rights are the about the same around the King of LMU.It seems his money has subverted the rights of everyone at LMU.He doesn't have an army but he has a group of people who will do anything he wants to keep from losing their jobs. What we need to do is quit bad-mouthing foreign countries and start examining the rights of our own people. I don't believe LMU's King is as bad as the Chinese but then I don't know the Chinese as well as I and others know the King of LMU. If the Chinese are as profane and dictatorial as Pete the Great at LMU the Chinese people need the sympathy of the whole world. Pray for the Chinese people.Don't waste your time praying for the employees at LMU.Their plight is as hopeless as Adolph Hitler's chance to win a posthumous Nobel Peace Prize.

You might want to check out Peteys choice for head of DCOM by googling his name. Might be intersting to see just what is being taught there.
