You seem to be suffering from "head-up-the-a$$-syndrome ." I'm sure if it were you who were brutalized (or one of your friends, or maybe your sister), you'd not be happy to have things just "move on." Why is it that these 2 athletes are still roaming the halls, while the victim had to leave school or face them on a daily basis? Where is her justice? And how will you feel when these boys are found guilty, and you look back at your comments that are so blase and uncaring? Will it be important to you then?

If you really are a survivor (as that's what you would be if it had happened to you and you lived to tell about it), then you seem to be in serious denial about the effects on a young woman's life. Please try and think about how she must feel to read such flipant comments from someone...put yourself in her shoes and really think about what you've said. Or better yet, go to the Knoxville forums and read up on the rape and torture Channon Christian endured. Then come back here and talk about "innocent until proven guilty" and letting things "blow over."

LOL...glad I didn't see this 'til you'd apologized for the other posts on the BH site. I don't relish in any painful past. I've had a few things that have happened in my past that weren't pleasant (who hasn't?), but I've chosen to move on with my life and put that behind me. I fall victim to no one. I put the two b*stards away that hurt me, when no one thought I could or would. I don't see myself as a victim in any capacity, but I do want to help others get past similar situations. As you know, that's not possible without letting them know I can to related to what they've been through. Otherwise, in their eyes I'm just another person who "doesn't have a clue about their pain," and people that have that thought process aren't about to let you try and help them.

First of all, why don't you learn to spell? Secondly, it's not a racist issue at all to want to see the men who abused your daughter brought to justice. It doesn't matter if they're black, white, red, or purple. They need to be dealt with swiftly and surely.

LMU students need to stop blaming DCOM for all their ills. DCOM may be the only reason LMU still exists at all.

But since you brought it up, DCOM is sucking up every bit of the energy and resources at LMU. And students are not the only ones who are well aware of this. Unless you have personal experience with the head of DCOM, you shouldn't be slandering other people's name. Why don't you take a look at this article. As much as you obviously hate the existence of a medical school in this area, it is bringing money into the local economy which would have gone elsewhere had DCOM not developed.

I have an update on this incident. You notice there hasn't been much mentioned lately. That's because the mother and daughter have been proven to be liars. It has been reported that the young lady consented to this sexual act. I hope the two young men persue a lawsuit against this obvious racist mother.

I don't know if they are or not, but if I was the family I would go after the establishment who served my underage child beer. As we all know, alcohol tends to cloud judgement.
