Claiborne County Jail Question

For anyone who knows, how hard is it to get out of there on a charge? If the fine is only up to 700 dollars?

do you mean bail is 700 dollars? if so it will be under 100 dollars with a bondsman. call a bondsman

No, he has a fine that is 700, no bond. has to stay in jail until Thursday. Now i don't know if Thursday they will set him a bond or how that will work, since they didn't set him a bond when he first went in.

So he violated probation and didnt pay his fine? you need to be more specific. Possibly they will give him more fines, time served and more probation if it is misdemeanor probation. Your not given enough details to give you an answer...sorry

Sorry about that. But what happened..is that he had two warrants on him. two from years ago for driving with no tags or registration, and one for some other misdemeanor. He never went to court, and he had two warrants on him for it. He was on in way to do his Community Service in KY,(which he wasnt driving) and they pulled over the car looking for someone else. anyways they asked for his Id and for some reason ran him through the system and he got arrested last Thursday. And now his court date for it is this coming thursday.(and the 700 is apparently the fine for driving without tags or registration.)I don't know the court system that well and how everything works, and i just wanted to know since they didn't set him a bond the first time, if after Thursday they would set him one, or if like you said will he have to spend more time in jail?

More than likely they will give him probation and have him pay the fines. Since he is in jail. I doubt they will make him serve anymore time. He needs an attorney. Lindsey Cole or David Stanifer could help answer your questions better.
