I respect the family. I think Paula would make an excellent principal for both staff and students. We continue to have contact with the family, and I am a white lady. You would make a great reference for anyone on a job application. I couldn't agree more with your character summary of Paula. I used to see her quite often when some friends all rented a house together. It turned out to be a total disaster for them because of a busy body female roommate. I can remember times when Paula had to jump into squabbles in hopes of keeping the peace. I never really got to know her all that well, but I do know a lot of people that think well of her. Teachers at the high school say that she's very thorough and fair. She's highly capable to do the job. There will always be ignorant people putting down anyone that goes against whatever their criteria for normal may be.
