Goodwater, Ala. man wanted for murder arrested in Columbus

I am the one that turn him in! I was afraid of my life.Got a phone call about 5am sat. morning from my cousin.He said that his best friend was in some trouble and he won't me to ride too florida with them. I told him that i had something to do. I said that ya'll can come too the house an stay with me. I needed to know what was going on with my cousin.I called a cousin of mine from goodwater and i told her what was going on an that i needed too find out what kind of trouble he got into too.She said she was going to find out.When they got too my house about 7am Sat. I ask both of them what was going on he said that he did not like the guy which was a drug dealer and said that he guy was acking like he was the big timer in Goodwater and can not be touch! He said he just snap on him! he said that this guy was hurt really bad.He never said he killed anyone.About 10:30 i got the called from my cousin in goodwater and she told me that there was a robbery and 2 people got stab and the girl had died! So I called my mason brother who is the city conner in phenix city and told him too called the police because I was scared for my life!I had too do what was right for me.So i am glad he is caught because he would have killed some one in columbus!

I have family that lives in Goodwater that I haven't seen or spoken to for a while. Is this a true story? If so, who was the girl that got killed. I really would like to know if this is someone I know.

The girl was Kevin Owens daughter, and the guy that survive Alton and Sarah Jean Williams son Al

I heard he asked the guy for a ride to dadeville, and the guy said hold on let my wife put on her shoes.....when the wife walked from the back of the house she saw him stabbing her husband and she went to help and he started stabbing her to death :((kalvin owens daughter) I also heard that he choaked the lil girl. is this true?

yes!! this guy is crazy for putting his hands on that child! That really pist me off!

The victims name is Lakeyia. I hope that this animal burns in hell for his actions. I believe that all of this is premeditated because he threw a brick into her moms window to buy himself some time to commit his crime. She went to check on her mom and once she came home he had already stabbed her husband. That's when she tried to help him and was stabbed herself. It's so awful that 3 children have lost their mom because of one dumb a&% individuals harsh actions.

It scares me that this community can be so dangerous. It has been this way for a long time. We moved because of the robberies and violence. Something drastic needs to be done. Our deepest sorrow to the Owens and Williams families.

This guy was my supervisor last year. He was a drunk and a drug user. He had a bad attitude. No one liked him. I knew that one day he would do something awful. My prayers go out to the families that were affected by this demon.

Micheal Stowe had once before been charged with a stabbing (attempted murder) offense. He was chased last year through the plant he worked at by the police. Our crimal justice system is to blame for the death of this woman. Maybe this time he will get what he deserves.The death penalty.

To my understanding he only served one year for the incident that you are refering to. Your right....the justice system is just as much at blame as he is!!!

If mr. Willams was considered a big time drug dealer do y'all think stowes had something against drug dealers. But its terrible that a life had to be taken in that situation because in our local paper it stated he needed a ride home. Maybe this is not all the facts about what happened in goodwater that night

This is a terrible situation.Iam real close to this family.This just goes to show that everything you do effects your loved ones. Its terrible that these children had to loose there mother over someone elses actions.I think this should be a lesson learned BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU DO.If its not the right thing to do it will come back on you sooner or later.

When I talk too him on sat morning he just said that he did not like him because he was flossing his money around and he ack like no one could touch him.I don't think he don't like big time drug dealer i think that he was jealous because he did not have any money!

Hellooo....This guy is a drug user!!!! So...now what reason do you think he had for doing this to a drug dealer if that is what he is....Some people will take what they want if they can't get it any other way.
