What happen to football coach at CHSPC

I heard a rumor that a coach for the hornets was fired this week because he gave pills to players before last week games and they got sick. Any truth to this?

I did hear that Doug Planchard gave several kids pills before the Catholic School Jamboree that made them sick afterwards. Parents are pissed!

Well, I don't know if I would have put the suspected guilty parties name on here but my question would be why wasn't he arrested then. I understand that you must be 18 to purchase those pills so I guess you would call it contibuting to the deliquency of a minor right?

Honestly, I am personal friends with alot of the parents of CHSPC players, and I have not heard a peep of this. So I really doubt any truth to this, but I am all ears.

Energy drinks or energy capsules, I think.
My son purchases energy drinks all the time and he is not 18. From what I hear from the players he was a good coach.

He was fired because he gave several players Yellow Jackets which is a high effedra diet drug similar to speed. You must be 18 to purchase, if they wanted to they could have pressed criminal charges, but didnt.

yea, it was before catholic jamboree, and a couple of kids were throwing up, but there were other reasons he was fired to

100% True, yellow jacket pills like at the Quick Stop. Also one of those Coaches too cheerleaders to McD's after a game and had very inappropriate conversations with them. Thus, he is now a gone pecan!!!

From what I am hearing, both of these instances are linked to the same coach, glad they canned him.

Charges sould have been pressed for the pill situation. Thats the same as buying a minor alcohol. I can guarantee you he will be coaching somewhere next season doing the same thing.

I am pretty sure it was 2 different coaches that got canned, I just don't know which one did which.

I talked to a parent of a player today about the whole situation, and he told me it was one coach. But who knows.

You could be correct. Could be the same coach with the pills and cheerleader talk, but 2 people did get fired. Geaux Tigers

Shame on CHSPC for not getting the parents of the players together and press charges against this coach. Maybe they realized that if charges would have been filed then the New Reporters would have got the story reported.

So that's why I say shame on CHSPC and the parents for letting this coach get away with this. Sure he was fired but he is also free to go elsewhere and potentially do the same thing and maybe seriously hurt someone. Then CHSPC will have blood on its hands.

CHSPC choose to handle it this way to keep its name out of the Press. what kind of an example is that setting for its students. This was against the law and these players could have died. Years ago there was a athlete that died because of Ephedra.
