I hope this brings to light the allegations or non-allegations as the case may be. A half-million dollars wasted by these dipsticks! C'mon Navajo Nation - get your $h** together.

Yes, C'mon Get real is RIGHT ON. I like outside comments from a differnt race. I don't mean Navajos living off the Navajo reservation. It is such an embrassment and a disgrace of you would think the outside worlds sees the Navajo Nation Government.

After this shin-ding is over another is on its way. Like I said before it don't make a differance who is in office, there's always going to be some sort of scandal. We as dine' need an execution squad!! You steal you die!! That's the only way our gov't is going to work.

Hmmm? Something stinks in Denmark (Window Rock)!

How come the Speaker, Council and attorneys were prevvy to info (yes, my spelling is terrible) about legal issues and ethics regarding the Shirley Administration, YET they aren't allowed to even know what the report says?

That don't sound right to me.

Should a person know why they were put on leave?
How come the council knows the info, and since they were placed there by the democratic vote, shouldn't the voters be allowed to know what is going on?

Me thinks Joshua and Natasha Kaye have some splaining to do.

If the Speaker has all this infor., shouldn't the public know what is going on?

To cite "investigation" mumbo-jumbo is just plain stupid.

NO FREE PRESS ON NAVAJO and for that, the entire Council, Speaker and his staff should be placed on leave themselves for not adherring to Navajo Fundamental Law!

Unbeknownst to himself, Joshua Lavar Butler already disclosed some of the contents of the secret reports in his press release following the executive session. He sure was highlighting some of the points without realizing it. I would say his goof now makes the reports non-hushed. Joshua Lavar Butler’s big mouth through Face book and his own press release already jeopardized the investigation resulting in possibly documents being taken and shredded. Also, the Navajo Times reported on it too through some kind of leak.

This investigation is just a retaliation against the prez becasue of the government reform that the prez brought up. If anything "wrong" was found during this investigation, then it would have been made public right away. Look who did the audit/investigation. The firm was used by the council once before and who's to say that this $500,000 job resulted from a firm that felt obligated to return some favors to the Council. The Audit should have been done by another firm outside of the Council's favortism. Its just the Council's way of retaliating. This reform needs to happen considering all the stupidity among the Council Delegates. It's just sad that they are elected, so it goes with popular vote. They purchase their votes with greasy frybread to match their equally greedy persona.

Yeego! to Dr. Zion! he continues to fight, to teach the Dine' leaders about democracy! Josh Butler has fallen far. He used to be a good Mormon, following the tenets of a higer power bu has fallen hard for fat and cash. How pathetic a little power turns softies. Be a Dine' man!

Navajo Fundamental Law does not address free press on the NN. Come to think of it, except for the 9 major crimes such as rape, murder, arson etc., why shoudl the council follow any law but its own?

There is a Nvajo Bill of Rights but not sure if it addresses freedom of press. Of course the Council could vote to suspend that too!
