Tom Horner is the only way we can get through the gridlock in this state. I'm also so sick of the two other candidates, they are more of the same.

Government should have a limited role and taxes reduced. It is interesting that America came about as a result of trying to get out from under the oppressive English government rule and high taxes and here we are moving towards that same scenario. Also, it crazy to go towards socialized health care when every other country that has tried it has failed.

I think conservative is a better term than republican. I, as a conservative believe in personal responsibility. I do not want the government to tell me what to do, I want minimal regulations and I believe the tax rates definitely have to be reduced.

We need someone focused on solutions not politics. Horner carries no baggage and will be able to do just that!

Not that I know of. Look at the record - most men and women in our country have driven and were not caught - perhaps you have. A mistake is something when made can be learned from. The fact is he doesn't repeat it. Dayton has many counts against him that have been repeated.

Emmer is a fanatic and is of the same idiotic viewpoint from which Michelle Bachman comes. They have no feeling for average and poor Americans. Absolutely no business sense. Dayton at least is empathetic and understands that you can only cut back government so far before all the services on which we so depend will be history. Not everyone can fend for themselves. I am not one of them. I can easily support myself in retirement for the next 60 years, but I have many friends who cannot.

He cares about people and will not balance the budget by hurting the least among us. Emmers will balance the budget by hurting the middle class to help the rich

Emmer is the only one that will rein in the out of control spending
By hurting the most vulnerable - seniors, disabled, lower income. He want to end medicare, social security, cut aid to schools and tax servers! That's one way to rein in spending but is it the moral way? how about equitable tax rates so middle income don't pay a higher % of their taxes than wealthy? How about eliminating the cap on social security. All ways to control spending and reduce deficit without hurting the majority of Americans.

Emmer is the only candidate that understands that a business community that thrives and provides jobs is the engine that generates revenue for education and every other government program. Having an education without a job is like having a boat in a desert. It looks good but you can't do too much with it.

Dayton is the only candidate likely to fund our schools enough to start paying back that high-interest credit card we called a spending shift.
Dayton is already talking about pushing back the shift to balance his budget that is $1billion short. Where do you think he is going going to go after that revenue. THE MIDDLE-CLASS! WAKE UP! Dayton is coming for your hard earned money that you need to make ends meet.

Yes, I can. What has Pawlenty done but drive this state into the crapper by cutting education and everything else, but increased spending for state workers.

Just like in Moose Lake, for if it were not for Channel five investigation they were going to build a handball court for sex offenders!$46,000 wasted on losers who can't stop touching kids. I bet Pawlenty would not have batted an eye to spend it on it!

That is all the repubs do is tell you what you can and can't do! They spend money on the stupidest things and then expect the lower and middle classes to pay the taxes for it.

Rich are for the rich pure and simple. Yeah, lets cut all the school funds and then raise taxes. Oh, but we need a new football stadium for the college, even thought Minnesota is the worst team in college history! Yeah, good thinking! Oh oh, yeah, lets hold a special session to talk about flood money for Owatonna too, because heaven knows, we need to just sit and talk about how to deal with disasters instead of having a plan and money put away for it.

Get this jack ball out of here and get someone in there that is FOR the people.

YES!!!

Companies are leaving this state left and right, because the state taxes the piss out of them and everything else. Look at MoneyGram, the state had a chance to save 800 jobs, but they didn't. So they are heading to Dallas Texas.( remind you of a little hockey team that went the same path?)

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Pisces

You're raring to go today, especially on domestic projects. You'll achieve a tremendous amount if you're allowed to proceed at your own pace and in your own time, but you'll soon get ratty if you suspect someone is breathing down your neck or trying to tell you what to do. You'll also feel irritated with people you know really well, so be prepared for a few fireworks.
