Yeah, he's definitely radical, but it's all for show. You'll never find a more intelligent lawyer to defend you in any case though. I have seen one judge throw a case out of court when he saw Arden as the defense attorney.

It also should be taken into account that this isn't the first time those in power have tried to take him down. He's really a decent guy, but as a person once said,'In times of deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act,' or something to that effect.

Fred,
Apparently you are as lousy a typist as you are a judge of character. Arden Wells is a great lawyer with a great mind and the courage to battle injustice. I am glad you live in Mississippi now.

Exactly why the good ol' boys want to take him down and have tried so hard to do so. The things that could be exposed as true would negate their deniability. Arden is one of a very few honest lawyers and he'll stand up for Constitutional rights. Only the blind idiots think he's the troublemaker here, but there are plenty of them unfortunately.

I knew Mr. Wells both socially and professionally throughout my 10 years as a student and attorney in New Orleans. I always found him to be both a gentleman and a scholar. Unfortunately, many people are intimidated by great intelligence and the ability to think for oneself. The world would be a better place if there were more men like Arden.
