Area papers have been hit-and-miss on this case, but you can get "the scoop" in Sunday's HDN: http://hendersondailynews.com

No sensationalism or "alleged" descriptions, just the facts. No fluff or filler.

you are stupid, stupid. I don't know the man, but I know people that do. I am glad you're sitting behind your computer just excited as hell to talk about some family who's going through a rough time. Way to go why don't you give yourself a big pat on the back for being just another Ahole in this town. IDIOT.

That's a pretty strong reaction for someone who 'don't know the man'. Are you saying that you have never passed along gossip or talked about something or someone? All the people YOU talk about have families and people who love them. Such strong reactions will only elicit additional comments. He is a public servant, an ex-Marine; he can take it. If not, he shouldn't have put himself in that position.

Well I do know this man and I do care about his family but if he has done something against the law then he needs to be held accountable. If one of my sons did something against the law I'm sure people wouldn't mind it being in the paper so what makes this situation special?

I suppose someone with a name like "Shut Up" would rather just sweep stuff like this under the rug but people need to know about this.

Thanks for the tip "Scoop" and I'm glad someone wants people to know what's going on.

Thanks "Just Sayin" I agree. I don't see anyone on the news assassinating the young man's character but they're doing their job. I feel bad for the man and his family but you're right, he shouldn't have put himself in the position.

How scary would it be if things like this could just happen and no one knew about it?

Seems to me you are just pluggin' the "paper" for some sales. How else would you instruct us to click on the daily news link and the story in Sunday's paper (just now printed) isn't even on there yet, you should know that! Henderson Daily Dissapointment strikes again. Woopee doo.

The point was this was posted on here BEFORE the paper was printed and in homes. This was on this site this morning. They started before anyone has seen what would be in Sunday exept the folks that work there. Can you say a little "PR"?

This is not the first time this has happened!! The most recent time it WAS swept under the rug by our LOCAL law enforcement. The Highway patrol new about the first incident and did NOTHING about it. There is no doubt that GOOD people make BAD decisions in daily life. He and his family need prayer and help, as do other people in this town that have made bad decisions. If you know this man or any other person who has done wrong, please stand strong with them and offer support to them and their children. Dont turn the other cheek. We can help one another and are here as humans to help one another. If we turn our backs on them for what they have done we compound the problem. NOBODY is without fault...If his agency or friends would have intervened the first time, maybe he wouldnt be going through this embarrassing life changing moment at this time. He did wrong, but he should still be loved and given any help to overcome this situation

Alice, dear, the story was on the news (channel 56 and 7) on Wednesday at 6 p.m. HND is, as always, several days late. But I do applaud the fact that they waited until they all the facts before they went to print. It was not PR, it was HDN being the last to print, even Tyler and Longview printed earlier in the week. So wake up and smell the coffee.

It was in HDN's Thursday paper. That was the first chance they had to print after his arrest on Wed. They weren't several days late. Sunday's article has more info that they previously didn't have. HDN does a pretty good job for a small town paper. I get so sick of hearing people put them down. The same people complaining now would also be the first to complain if we didn't have a paper because then they would never see their child's or grandchild's picture in the paper for school or sports. If you think you can do better, why don't you go to school, get your journalism degree and apply for a job.

You are so right about the HDN haters!! They are the 1st to want their engagements, weddings, birthdays, etc. printed in the HDN, but can't take the HEAT when the topic strikes a nerve!! The HDN should not be about promoting the "Who's Who" achievements, but rather an informative, trusted publication representing ALL aspects, the good & the bad, of Life In Small Town Henderson!!!

Word to the wise: Before you post something make sure the story is there. I take it you are the reporter who wrote this, who else would know of a story before it was in the paper.

He may be a veteran and policeman....

Too many police reports have been filed against him. Before and after dps school, ex-wife's, girlfriend's, new wife. Dating girls underage, in 2 counties. Threats and verbalizations...this time he went too far.

There are some very, very good DPS officers and this guy should not be one. Arrogance and Narcissism are the best adjectives for this guy.

I thought DPS only hired the very best?? Looks like as long as you don't screw up before you apply, you are good for the Academy, but once you become a Trooper, you can screw up all you want to, get arrested, drive drunk and get a ride home, have a wife, move out, file for divorce and already have a new girlfriend. Guess the 10 General Orders really don't hold water after graduation?? There are plenty places in the state a problem Trooper can be sent to get his "stuff" back in order!!
