For all who are interested I happen to know a few park rangers in the area and am getting permission to put wireless cameras in the area to help with this problem. I've lived in new Lenox all my life and have always wanted to check out the fort but always saw weird cars there. Now that I'm older and work for a security company I can do something about it.

If you know a few park rangers,could you ask them know why they don't do anything, I drive past there on my way to work every morning and there are old and young guys parked there as early as 8am.

I was there sat. and it is very relaxing. I pulled my car in and wasnt bothered by anyone. One father pulled in with his two kids and took them for a walk.
I was just sitting in my car enjoying the colors of the leaves.Even dozed off for a bit. I think it is a nice place
