Board member has temporary protection order against her

I just read a recent article in the Patch that stated the order of protection was extended. It also said in the article that Ms. Gillooley threatened Ms. Jackson with the Mayor (Tim Balderman). Hmmmm.....interesting.

She admitted to doing that. It sounds like an abuse of power, but that's just my opinion. I don't think the mayor would be too happy about SG dragging him into her domestic problems. I would hope he would not approve of her using him to intimidate another resident. She should put the kids and taxpayers ahead of her wants and resign from the board. I sure hope this board can guarantee us Bentley parents our kids will be safe and sheltered from her and her domestic problems.

I don't know who this guy is, but signing your kids up for this sport is OPTIONAL. If you don't like his behavior, everyone should not sign up.

This woman is on the board of education for our children's school. This is far far far more important than some sport and a very different scenario. She is voting on major decisions affecting our children's education and how to handle millions of dollars. You cannot possibly compare the two.

She obviously has major personal/emotional problems and should not be responsible for anything affecting our children's future.

How are they ruining her reputation? They report the facts....like they report the police report when someone drinks and drives, or disobeys traffic stops, or has weed in their possession. So if there is evidence and the court sees a restraining order is needed, how exactly is that ruining her reputation? If she needs HELP, I hope she gets it. I don't know the circumstances and I don't care. All I want is someone sitting on the board that can concentrate on the students and my tax dollars. If she is unable to do that, then she does need to step down. Sorry, I disagree with you!

I agree with you. It is not a private and personal matter when it involves an elected board member who has a restraining order against her. She brought this on herself, nobody else did. She is responsible for her own actions to which she admitted to in court. These people saying there is no evidence are dimwits. Read the articles people, she admitted doing some of this stuff in court. She was also warned by the judge and her attorney to shut her mouth and stop speaking out of turn in court. That right there shows a lack of self control when you can't obey a judges orders to close your trap... just saying.
